Its kinda disgusting since the player that owned it suffered from a disease as far as i know. UOR was pretty much all he liked, hopefully there can be done a proper agreement, i believe @Sir Billy took care about some propertys. Peace,
@WorkerBee is one of the kindest player on this shard. He's generous,friendly and honnest. I will try to reach him and maybe buy it back for him.(not a this price for sure)
I think that's an unfair characterization. I'm not intimately involved in everyone's life on this server, nor do I really care to be. I'm sorry that he's suffering from a disease and perhaps unable to play right now. I think I speak for all of us who IDOC, past/present/future, that we have and will always try to work out a deal with players who have let their houses fall for one reason or another. If the owner of this fort returns and drops Gideon a note then I'm sure something can be worked out. Expecting anyone to hold a property indefinitely isn't fair either. I've been asked to refresh properties on this server for numerous players. So long as those players continue to keep in touch with me, in whatever way possible, I would never let their houses fall. If you fall off the face of the Earth then it's not fair to me, or anyone else playing here, to continue to refresh your properties. There was just a thread recently where people were calling for the crucifixion of players refreshing properties for people who obviously no longer player here, I'm not saying that's the case with the former owner of this fort. We are all reasonable people, all it takes is dropping a line to one of us.. publicly calling us disgusting is unfair. Telamon has long held that if you are unable to refresh your properties for a reasonable excuse then he would take care of you, obviously an illness fits here. Expecting us to know who owns what properties and why they're gone this week or the next is unreasonable. I can go to work tonight and get shot. I fully expect all of you to take part in picking up my pixels. I would hope no one out there would guilt someone for playing this game ignorant to other players real life circumstances.
@Cynic you guys are feeding off the decay of the server and, it's not a bad thing. Sometimes you are unaware of who owned what property and what happened to them. It's your line of work/style of game play. People will be upset but hey this is the way you guys play the game nothing wrong with it. Just roll with the punches.
Just to clarify, im not angry at all(or against someone) Im just REALLY sad to see @WorkerBee fortress fall (and stuffs). I emailed him and waiting after a reply from him.
I should probably just stay out of it, but I agree with Cynic here. Real life always takes priority over the game. If you are unable to personally refresh your house, and are also unable to at minimum have a friend refresh it in the interim, to me that displays a lack of UO being a priority in your life at the moment. Which is understandable, but let people who are actively involved in the game to be able to enjoy it. I wouldn't expect any less if I were to quit or take an extended break for any reason and wasn't able or simply didn't have time to refresh my houses. I would likely just transfer them to friends who were active.
That being said, this is a cheap deal on a fort. If I had cash laying around I'd be throwing down a bid..
@Pill & @Gideon Jura Sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G Nice House btw I pray that the original owner gets better in real life.
