Surely I am not the only mac user in the game?

I am having problems I never thought possible until I joined a guild. Guild chat involves using the backslash ∖. This is not on the keyboard (however, forward slash is /.) My mac (see specs in my sig) has a character view for the many variations on characters not on the keyboard, like backslash. They are in a separate list accessed above the screen.

Right now I would like to know how many players in UO:R have a mac. If so, please reply in this thread, giving specs.

I use a macbook pro but not the retina kind so I have a \ key on my keyboard. The only real problem I've had thus far is that what UO considers "alt" is my "command" key so there are a number of hotkey combinations I can't use, like "alt + Q" which will actually just close the program.

Mac user here (retina iMac). I don't use any of the built-in key commands and always remaps to what I normally use (Control + [key]).

Ren, how do you remap the key?

Are there really only 2 other mac users in UO:R? That's 3 including me?

My main notebook is a MacBook Pro and I used to play on it, but I stopped due to the massive use of CPU from wine, I was worried it could result in a problem in the future, since I had 3 clients running all the time (it was like 70% CPU usage nonstop, resulting in 80-90ºC temperature). But other than that, always played fine emulating Ultima Online via wine so I could run 3 instances. Now I'm playing on a old Windows crappy notebook I've found. It's kinda laggy but it's okay 'cause I don't PvP and it spares my Mac afterall.

Thanks for that, Heretic. That makes four of us. Any others?
