Do you know the type? Is it a rarefur1, 3 or 4? http://www.uorenaissance.com/search/Rarefur There seems to be several of the 3 and 4, but only one of the 1’s. That is what could be the difference.
It doesn't seem to match any, as it faces a completely different direction than standard furs. How would I determine this? I have asked several people who deal in rares, and no one I asked has seen an item of this type. My advice was to watch forums to help determine rarity. If they popped up, one could assume rarity, based on how many became available. At this point, no one else has come forward with a match. I want to make sure I am fair on this, and ask if ANYONE has more info, please provide any info you can. Perhaps @Chris could weigh in.
If you go into the main Renaissance IRC channel, and type "!hue 904" a link will be provided with all the items in-game with that hue. ( http://www.uorenaissance.com/itemdetails/Hue/904/1 <---- This page for your fur) It does appear yours is the only Fur of that type and that hue as yet. Also if you use an "identifier" tool, craftable by a tinker, and target the fur, it will tell you it is a rarefur1, 2, 3, or 4, and the hue. As far as direction I don't believe that matters, as furs are turnable with the home deco tool. So yeah, someone buy this dude's fur! 1 of 1 on the server!!
These Furs can drop from Bad Santa's Mount, the Dark Elf Commanders Mount, The White Witch or Krampus. The Battle Mount (Boss Polar Bear) can drop a fur (RareFur1-4) matching his current hue. For the Dark Elf Commander these hues are possible. (902, 903, 904, 905, 922) So it is one of a kind (based on the item database) but another could spawn in the future, but it would be a very rare spawn as the chance to get this fur in this color would be very small (1 in 4 fur type chance, 1% drop chance, 1 in 5 hue chance per Dark Elf Commander)
