Problem with IRC

I was having a conversation with a few people tonight on the #PS IRC channel. I got disconnected. I rejoined, but now I can't type on any window in IRC (I can type everywhere else just fine).
So if anyone wants to continue conversation with me, PM me. If anyone has a solution for this problem, Pm me!

Are you using the web based irc client or another client, like mIRC?

@Waylan mIRC or DL and install AdiIRC which is the one I am using and it is very very neat and you can have all different chatwindows next to eachothers

The web based flash IRC is fraught with problems IMO and IME. I seriously recommend downloading an irc client app. There are some free ones but mIRC is the best for windows from what I remember (I use LimeChat on my mac).

@Kirby/Pekka- I'm using the default irc through UOR website. I'll dl one of the one's you guys linked and try that out. Thanks for the suggestions.

@Azerothian mIRC is the oldest that I know off and the most known.... It has been around for centuries. IRC is much older then www itself. I do not know wich of the 2 are best really. I know though that AdiIRC is fresh and nice.

When I used a windows personal computer and not a mac pc I used the free version of mIRC and did eventually register it.

i downloaded a irc for android but i cant seem to find uor can anyone direct me in the right direction? doing that on my phone would be much easier

Edit - IRC channel shows you briefly joined about half an hour ago. If you get a channel with ~Telamon at the top and a load of wizardy names that's us.

This is what I'm looking at on the app

Change Server to: irc.chat4all.org

Change Join Channels at the bottom to: #ps

That should be it, but I'm far from an IRC expert.
