Hi Charles, As a duty to a fellow Polish man I feel I must tell you that you can buy ingots from vendors at 8gp each once you join the mining guild. You would have far more interest if you sold them at 7-7.5g each.
I had a disturbing moment when I thought about the 8 gp per ingot and how 400 ingots therefore equals 3200 gold which can be acquired wayyyy faster killing monsters, even ettins and earths, and even though I have 100 mining its probably more efficient for me to just buy ingots. My ingots to me, iron colored or marble, are worth a lot more than what I can get from selling them whether thats for leveling blacksmith or making armor sets or working BODs later on. This was the moment my dreams of professional mining died. Luckily I cant resist the sight of a hot pile of agepite and valorite fresh out of the oven and so will continue to mine but selling doesnt make much sense competing with the npcs I guess.
Nope, you can get the colored ingots though. Unfortunately, those colored ores may be better obtained through golems/elementals.
Yeah i do those through golems/elementals. Ive been doing it so much I have more valorite than dull copper hehe. Not much good to my incipient blacksmith though. Back to standard mining for a bit. I heard its 40-50k ingots? Ive got almost 20k now.
