Adventure #7 Despise & Despise again Our weekly guild meeting and hunt was Saturday this week. First we welcomed new member Nixon! Welcome. During the meeting, I explained that we will be heading to Despise dungeon to fight monsters for platinum coins at the champion spawn. There are lots of slimes so I prepared a box of GM weapons. Ready to go, Dungeon Guards arrive in Despise! To our surprise, an Ogre Mage boss was there waiting for us. This was an immediate challenge for our group ! Soon after this one was slain, another appeared. The champion spawn was triggered but we still had ogre lords to deal with! It was challenging non-stop combat. Soon we were under attack from a PK who attacked us with Energy vortexes on the island. Thankfully Erza Scarlet from Stormhold appeared and drove him away. Our warriors fought well together bringing down numerous ogre lords, rats and slimes. Ratmen began to spawn, things started to get more difficult. Biggles was eaten by his own dragon! As direwolves began to spawn we began to feel we should leave while we were ahead. We knew we wouldnt be able to hold them off for much longer. Back to DG village we counted our gold and platinum coins. After a short 15 minute break it was back to Despise, but this time to Titans and Cyclopses. Some in DG had never fought these fierce giants. It wouldn't have been a DG hunt without lots of deaths. All in all a very good hunt! Melryn Moonstone
