I think the announcement of the numbering should of been posted on the forums and not for a limited audience who were on irc at the mention. The numbering is silly, to some it does mean something when spending 2k coin, those items should all be the same, or cheaper now there is one unique.

I am not jealous sorry, I just see the view from friends and people in irc that the number and then offering to remove the number was not even necessary. Keep out the uniqueness on vendor items and keep all the items the same, would of not been an issue to most of the people.

The "jealousy" is justified.
These items can be sold. The value of having #1 stamped on it is considerably higher than without.
Those that weren't in IRC to find out this was going to happen DID miss out.

Every mask bought from the vendor should be exactly the same in my opinion.

And I'm way too cynical to believe Gideon didn't know or that it wasn't his idea to begin with. But I also know Telamon can be very stubborn and backing him into a corner with public outcry won't change his opinion or make him change it now that the deed is done.

This is just a video game. I urge you all to try to enjoy the christmas event and not waste any more time debating this junk.

While I can't say that I really care, it does seem odd to number items from a vendor (making them unique). One off items should dropped from monsters or awarded rather than purchased from a vendor with pre-acquired resources.

This is kinda how I feel now, as sad as that might sound. When buying a mask for roughly 20 million you shouldn't feel let down.

I was going to buy a mask, but I might just liquidate the coins. Just no fun to get any mask other then #1.

Maybe Telamon will rename my mask to be #1 also, if its all about the enjoyment of the masks like he said. Then it shouldn't bother anyone.

Perhaps I have a different perspective than most but when I play a game I play it for the fun, the adventure, the experiences of killing this mob/that mob or killing people, or finishing some quest/event/whatever that has a goal that can affect my gameplay in some way via stats/perks/etc....

Blue hats are.....just blue hats they dont effect anything you actually accomplish in game no matter what the gold value is.

Hey everyone plays for their own reasons and if someones reasons for playing are to collect colored pixels in a virtual world that have no effect on how you play the game then I support that. Its someones own personal time and they spend it how they like to.
