Pretty common misconception that the UO pvp entry level is too high of a barrier. For dueling yeah maybe. But group pvp situational awareness and movement are really key factors. Even if you don't have much pvp experience but UO experience you could be a pretty big contributing member to a group very quickly w some practice. You don't need a super computer, you don't need to be super l33t on your poison locks. We grabbed some newer guys to teach them the ropes and the biggest problem they had was getting targets, staying w the group, and knowing when/how to run/move (yes running in UO is a skill) but all these can be quickly learned. "i pvpd but I died a lot " better players will die less sure. But it's not osi , voice programs have made it a different environment. If you don't die sometimes you prob arnt pvping or having a lot of fun. You might die a couple times fighting SL 4v8 .. But what about that time you prevail victorious and you can post SS and laugh at them ? It's not 99 losing 200 of each reg isn't a big deal anymore. It's not risk v reward. It's risk = reward. .... Now don't get crazy running into 8 nuggets with ebolts = grey robe

Lol nope, I don't even play HotS anymore either, quit after I made it to the master league as it quickly grew very repetitive & boring.. Give me a good reason to play again & i'll consider it.. I've been rather bored here lately anyways & haven't found anything worthwhile to play... ;/ False alarm - I've been informed that not much if anything has changed since I last played & there's really no reason if any to bother with playing again. A quick troll around the forums also seems to suggest the same is true as well & I have no interest in spending hours recalling the map just looking for a glimpse of action on the field. Chill, I'm going to say this one time, and one time only. Only because I get the hint that you have some form of mental block irl, to the point that you might actually have a delusional sense of reality. For starters, every time I log into IRC you are spamming "5x duel anyone?" And sending me PMs to 5x you..like multiple times while I'm afk and unresponsive. Okay, we got that out of the way. Now, let's go back about a week ago. Shortly after responding to your thread about how MB was broken, and I told you it was not a mechanic issue, but because you sucked. You PM'd in what was the first of many fight extensions from you. The next day I logged on for the first time in 6 months to actually play, and I dueled you. Four times. And I train wrecked you. But here's the deal, it wasn't that I beat you that bothers me. It's the fact that your offense was SO bad, that I quite literally made up an excuse that I had to go because it was that boring to me. No bullshit, I quickly felt like I was just hitting keys and winning. Here's a few issues with it all: 1. You told me you were a top 5 duelist on hybrid 2. After getting your ass kicked you told me you haven't played in years, which I'm not saying you haven't, but you weren't even remotely close to the fundamentals of poison locking, or even trying. Explo nox ebolt. Explo ebolt nox. Wtf? 3. You then said you just got a new keyboard. And then you said you didn't have all your macros set, or you just changed them. Okay. Problem with that? I watched you, while hidden, say the same thing to Theo. Then to me, then to SEVERAL other people over the course of an entire week of dropping by to watch and see if you had gotten any better. You hadn't. 4. I often skim through the irc pvp channel, and I can't tell you how many times I have seen you lose to people I would consider sub par pvpers at best. People I have never come close to losing to. Here's the kicker.. About 2 days ago you go on a rant in uor pvp about how I suck and you would whip my ass. You even said "20k if you can survive one dump." Like, are you fucking dumb man? And this is the best part. You said you were a top duelist on hybrid, and until I came to this server I NEVER 5x'd. I was always a strict field/pk player. I used to despise 5x. I came here and decided I wanted to be the best at it, so I taught myself the timers, came up with some different combo variations, and dominated it. With the exception of Pax and Sandro, I rarely lost. Period. Now here we are again, in my thread for my guild, and I have to read your eye sore of a comment about...you guessed it - 5x. I am going to now do the same thing to you on the forums as I did in IRC, and make you the president of my ignore list. Enjoy your reign, mighty one.
