Hahaha holy crap that's great. So they're stealable when complete? Had no idea. 750k is more than a fair price

I have quite the collection of vanq bows going from @TheDankNugget, I'll put together a package for you to buy back if you like.

I saw two people fighting and decided to grab some of the weapons they were using to beat on each other. After I lifted the vanq axe from acidbath , he guildy sage asked me to sell it back to him... of course I agreed!

I asked for 10k, he haggled me down to 6k, and the fun began! I noticed he casted a spell when he typed 6k... noticing that I targeted his gold spear, asked him once again what price he was going to settle on, I quickly doubled my take.

    Thanks again!

I know a lot of people lose their cool because of this game but this is embarrassing coming from an operator of the main uor channel.

A steal like this takes skill, patience, and a bit of luck.

Bravo on a great steal Blackeye. Well done.

You manage to annoy me with every post you make here. Bravo, even Blaise isn't able to achieve that 100% ratio. *bitchslaps the bunny*

I take it back. That was just to mean!

I get annoyed with the novice thieves who just snoop your pack and think they are something special when they run off with 4 of your mandrakes... but I can't help but to be in awe of these huge heists like Blackeye pulled off. I'm sure it sucks on Avery's part being on the opposite end of that heist though, but I'd rather take that big of a loss to a professional thief than just some random deathrobe thief who happened to get lucky lol.

Having done a great job in the past, it came as no surprise when Lord British himself summoned me to the lands surrounding his castle to crack down on the loitering problem. Deep within this culprit's pack was a bag containing runebooks for finding various spawning rares. With no one around to see my deeds, it was easy work running off with this number.

My next stop would be Nu'Jelm where I found the world renowned tailor Prada loitering outside of the bank. A few slight of hand tricks later and I was on my way with a bag full of tailor BODs. This isn't glamorous work but someone must keep these streets clean. Until next time!

    sb on bods

(also why do people loiter at the bank holding valuables instead of, y'know, BANKING them?)

Having slaved away in the dungeons as of recent, it was nice to actually hit the streets for some cut-purse action this afternoon. After making my way to a few towns without much luck at all, I appeared on the roof of Moonglow bank and began scanning. Seeing a tamer within the main room of the bank, I took my time creeping down behind him and gently reaching into his pack. To my surprise I felt a large skull and decided that it would look most excellent on my mantle. I took a chance by grabbing it with many Bankers and a Tinkerer in sight but my boldness paid off. With the 'skull of pain' in my bag I made for Serpents Hold where it found its new home safe within my workshop.

So I had some hours thieving fun today. But nothing worthy of posting so far. Checking a classy vendor for good weapons (I actually bought something!), I see a package. Dropped by a grumpy vendor that hasn't been properly paid? PAH, just some fished up paintings... wait... what the heck??? Okay.

I just started an account on Renaissance and got a thief back up and running! I had to wait a week to join the thieves guild which i mostly spent macroing up my skills and selling fruit by the bank for 50gp each. (organic fruit, hand picked from the fields north of britain blah blah) I made about 3k doing that over the week.

I got my thief up in the thieves guild on friday night and got my first steal! A afk player (who we shall call Ash) with a power axe in his hand at the Bar in occlo soon learned no where in town is safe. It took about 4 tries and 20 minutes, between casting wall of stone and making sure that npcs backs were turned. First the disarm and then the steal! I felt a little bad as I had allready taken a vanquising axe from his corpse a day or two earlier. My next free night, sunday night I spotted someone carrying a vanq axe at the bank, followed him around the wilderness of occlo for a while before he ended up back at the bank.. I stealthed over, took it and ran, banked it after I wasn't grey. I tried selling it back to him but he was a little salty. (no idea why)

Surprisingly I ran into Ash, who i had gotten my first steal from. I had all ready given his power axe to a new player, but i offered to sell him the vanquishing one I just took off someone else for 3k. He agreed his friend Magoo gave him the cash as he was short, I tried to steal it back and got guard whacked..

As a ghost I decided to hang around Ash and listen to his conversation with his friend Magoo. They gated to Magoo's house where I naturally followed.. At first I thought i was stuck in the middle of the wilderness as a ghost but listening to their conversation I was only a minute away from the Yew Gate.. I quickly wandered off, found a healer and stealthed back. I tried to be friendly and jump in their conversation (after I had discreetly checked their backpacks of course). They didn't seem too excited to see me pop up in their house and started casting some rather unfriendly spells. It was an engaging chase from Magoo's house to the moongate and thank god that Lord British's guards were there to protect me. I do pay my taxes after all.

I took everything I could from their corpses and told them to meet me at the bank.. included in the haul was about 100 of each reg, two sets of armour, a bag of new musical instruments, some wands, a rune book, a house key and another magic axe.. I sold the axe back for 1k this time, took the regs some runes and gave back the rest. I was feeling bad for ash at this point and didn't even check the house when I could have, due to them being criminal ghost and me having the key. I had now taken 3 axes from ash over the course of the weekend and sold him back two axes.. Overall it was a pleasure doing business with these two fine gentlemen and I'm glad we could all share a drink in occlo after our business was concluded. These two are definitely getting a discount next time I sell them back their stuff.
I actually ended up joining Magoo's guild after this :)
