    What I remember:

We would hypothesize about how to maximum the amount of crap we got from fishing MIBs. Do we fish while standing on the exact coordinates? Do we try to cast into the exact coordinates? Do we try to go as far from the site as possible?

This was all with the aim of getting the most casts possible prior to pulling up the sunken treasure because we wanted... PAINTINGS! :D

    What I'm experiencing on UOR:

More often than not I find myself casting dozens of times, sometimes filling my backpack with 40 items or more. I find so many paintings that I've put most of them onto my filter to drop in the trash.

On the other hand, sometimes I fish up the chest in the first cast or two.

    Suggestion:

Reconsider the number of casts it takes on average to bring up a chest, consider tightening the minimum and maximum number of casts, and making paintings more rare.

    Request:

Please provide input based on what you remember from the era. It's been a long time and maybe my memory is skewed.

I remember that hypothesis, but my testing never supported it

Ahh, but have you considered different levels of fishing skill?

The amount of shipwrecked items I have is obscene... OBSCENE I tell you!

It's good for CUB, if you care about that. Keep all of the shipwreck items as they are easy turn in points for CUB.

The main reason I did MIBs was because it was the easiest way to obtain CUB crap, and turn a profit while stocking my CUB house.

I don't remember what it was during era because I never fished until UOR. With that said, I do think that sometimes can take way too long to fish up a chest. IMO I think more than 10 casts is excessive and unnecessary. I wouldn't mind, however, turning footwear back on when fishing from deep sea.

I think it would be awesome if fishing occasionally produced a pair of colore sandals. Nothing crazy, just something else that's exciting to get every couple hours :B

    Clean Up Britannia

basically throw things away for points which you can save up for trinkets and what-not

overall it's a system that hopefully discourages hording

    Thanks
The Ruined Painting is also a depiction of Parmigianino's 1535 "La Madonna del Collo Lungo" (The Madonna with the Long Neck)

I always thought it obvious but good to know
