I'm finding one account disconnected out of 3 every time I check my accounts this morning/afternoon. Usually it is all or none. Anyone else experiencing problems like this?
The curse of those who leave and return? I've noticed it while running macros. I usually know I'm disconnected when I look at Razor and the macro has stopped. Noticed today that one macro would stop and others were running. So I would maximize that char window to find it disconnected.
It has never happened to me like that. What I have experienced is a client crash (not just disconnect) when I "interrupt" my restock agent (mostly when doing t-maps). I have a restock agent to clear out scrolls, gems, regs; but I have to run away and hide when mobs spawn before it finishes, so it sometimes crashes when I do that.
Doesn't just happen to me afk, happens to me while I'm playing. There will be a lag spike or server hiccup or whatever and when it ends one (sometimes two) of my accounts will lose connection. That is probably what happened.
I have also experienced these lag spikes while playing. It usually disconnects all accounts for me though. It is also generally very laggy during and after these lag spikes for a while. There didn't seem to be any lag when I would reconnect today. Just random disconnects. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Not that I am glad others are experiencing lag, but at least it makes it unlikely that the problem is at my end.
is your razor updated? I had the same prob before... macro overnight and one account would drop. I updated versions and fixed that issue and somehow improved my ping slightly as well.
I assumed it was, because it auto checks when I log on. I will have to look into it when I have time. I recall reading a comment from @Pill indicating his ping also improved after updating razor.
No change in ping after update. Razor itself loads much faster. I'll report any other changes as I observe them. Thanks again everyone for your comments.
Same results after Razor update. I had 2 accounts that lost connection but one was still connected. Didn't notice lag when I logged them back in, but I probably didn't notice the disconnect for some time after the supposed lag spike that would have caused it.
While running a looping macro? Do you have any lines of.. 'wait for target' in them? Is it the same macro for different characters?
If you use the same macro for all 3 at the same time it will eventually stall razor and one or 2 razor instances will crash, use separate macro programs and it shouldn't happen
The same macro file being used by three accounts like that does indeed stall it like @That Guy said. Usually happens during world saves to me.
Ok that should be the problem. All 3 accounts use the same razor profile and the exact same macro. I'll separate their macros. Thank you guys for all the comments.
To clarify a bit, I can't say that my ping actually improved, as I previously said, but rather had a more accurate ping reply when doing my -ping in game. It was more on par with what I was seeing on Windows command prompt.
