(80+ fishing offshore is required to catch a "Big Fish", tis by-catch of a sea serpent)​

An angler can place only one fish in the biggest slot and only one fish in smallest slot.
(for example- Mr Fisher can win 3rd biggest and 1st smallest, BUT NOT 1st and 5th biggest.
Also, a player with multiple fishers can place both Mr Fisher & Ms Fisher in 2nd and 5th place biggest.
Point is one angler can not take 1st and 3rd with same fisher but CAN take 1st and 3rd with two different fishers.)

Players can use multiple fishers however fish is AWLAYS credited to the angler (character tagged on fish).
A player can use Mr. Fisher, Ms. Fisher, Fisher Jr. But above applies.

Rules:
• The tournament will be held between Saturday October 5th and Saturday October 12th. All fish weighed in must have a datestamp on/between those dates. (Note: datestamp is based on UOR server time, US Central, -5 GMT)
• Awards will be given on Sunday October 12th. Accommodations will be made to winners that cannot claim their prize on that day.
• Fish weighed in will be credited to the angler, not who turns. Anyone can submit fish for any angler. Angler must be present to claim winnings.
• Use as many fishers as you like. Again, fish is credited to angler marked on fish. (some players are using more than one fisher)
• No sign up required! Simply contact Zyler in IRC or Forum PM to submit your fish -OR- post a screen shot of your catch. DO NOT MOUNT FISH. Mounting a fish will erase datestamp. Fish will need to be verified to collect prize if not seen previously ingame. Fish weight will only be recorded. You keep your catch.

Notes on Fishing:
Fishing is used with a fishing pole or nets to catch fish (and other objects).
Raising Fishing: Fishing is a difficulty based.
0-65 - On land you will fish up Footwear, Magic Fish, and Normal Fish.
80+ - Sea Serpents, Deep Sea Serpents, Shipwrecked Kraken (1 in 20). "Big Fish" will be by-catch (loot) on Serpents (including Deep). Big Fish can mounted to make a hanging Trophy using a Taxidermy Kits. (again don't mount until verified for tournament since datestamp will be removed)
100 - Messages in a Bottle (aka MIB) / Waterstained SoS Message (by-catch of Serpents - including Deep).

You can get to 100% fishing on land, but deep sea fishing gives much faster skill gains.
Monsters will never spawn by fishing from land.

I have caught a 160 pound fish on Black Bart I could not figure out how to insert the picture on this link. I will put it back in Photography & Videography. How do you insert a picture on a thread, i see Img below the subject line but I do not know how to insert the picture i want.

I just fought the Lochness monster out here, but I did not see it on the PVM leader board. That thing was tough, but fun. 50 barbed leather and 1500 gold on him. He also had a silver executioners axe.

Just as a suggestion for the next tournament:

Should only really allow one angler per person. You can already tell by the spreadsheet that people that have more than one fisher completely dominate this tournament and it's almost no contest. It's fun either way so please don't look at this suggestion as me complaining. I have 1 fisher and I'm still participating my ass off.

That would be nice but I dunno how to police that since one can have 3 accts.

I only have 1 fisher, 1 tailor while others have 3. Since I have only 1 tailor, I can get only 1 BOD every 6 hours while player with 3 tailors can get 3 BODs. It is my choice not to make 2 more tailors. I understand concern however my suggestion is to make 3 fishers if you want more of chance. Thanks for comments. I appreciate all feedback on how we can make Fishing Tournaments better.
