A bulk order system for rogues, something like an npc that issues quests that can involve lockpicking and disarming traps, poisoning and assassinations, stealing from certain mobs, stealthing gauntlets and the like. Rewards could be deco items and dress items, maybe thief related clothing? Or maybe light armor like phoenix that doesn't affect stealth, there are all kinds of possibilities.
For the lockpicking/disarming one, isn't the ancient MIB kind of like this? According to the docs at least, it is supposedly winnable by roguish feats alone...
Funny you say this...Jack was actually the first person to solo all of these (and win the iron man trophy) with...you guessed it, his thief!
Shadow Jack was definitely the first to complete all four aMiBs solo for which he earned the first Ironman trophy, I was the second to complete the four events. While Jack completed it with his rogue character by sneaking/stealing I opted for the more... Violent approach. I had to make a custom character to do these events, I found my tames (even 6xGM) were woefully lacking in the damage department, I found that most of the time going with my tamer I would usually lose pets or exceed the time limit for the aMiB and be booted out (Keep in mind for a tamer ironman award you would only be able to take in one nightmare). This resulted in the creation of a character tailored for something I've dubbed "Telamon Events" where mobs usually had magic reflect/bard resistance/tame resistance and a lot of special monster attacks. The build was a dexxer/bard seen here: http://www.uorenaissance.com/?page=m_player&id=30074 In case the skills aren't shown, he has: Music, Provo, Fencing, Anatomy, Healing, Tactics and Resistance. He's not very practical outside of events, however after a few early hiccups he has proven himself to be very proficient in clearing out aMiBs/Blackrock plague bosses solo. I have been planning to make an ironman aMiB guide for months now, including locations for the spawning rares/bosses/chests, tips on how to defeat bosses and equipment to bring. Unfortunately I haven't even had time to maintain my vendors/refresh my houses lately so I feel it may take a while before I can get it up. But I digress, I can definitely say a BoD system for rogues would be very cool, hopefully it comes out with Carpentry bods .
Was just going to say this myself, actually. I think some modification to the prisoner camps in the forests (typically 4 Lizardmen with the tent and the prisoner shackled inside) might be a good basis for this. The rogue could somehow spawn one of these via thiefly means (stealing a letter from a noble? stealthing somewhere and overhearing a conversation regarding the location?), make the monsters a little tougher so it's best to actually steal the shackle/lockbox key from the monsters, or lockpick, rather than just 2xEbolting them, etc. I don't really think such a system is necessary... stealing and roguish talents already have a multitude of uses, both in interacting with other players and NPCs, that crafters really don't have, not to mention the entire AMIB pirate system which seems well-suited and well-rewarded for one to try their roguish talents.
