And as a member of the "new population", I am saying this is not true. When I joined, ReZon hooked me up with a loaner house. Then I placed my own Small Tower next to a mountain not far from Despise. Now, I have a large brick and a small house reserving a spot next door for a second large brick. The location was spotted for me by @El Horno , but technically the money for it was all earned my me. He did spot me 60k for a couple hours or so, but still.

And I've been on this server for 20 days!! Explain to me, please, what more does a player like me deserve in 20 days?

Inflation in the housing market goes hand in hand with inflation server wide. Plat is sitting at 10k and Hcoin is around 6kish. Hcoin peaked at around 10k this season too.

People are paying millions for vanity items such as masks and sandals. I think that a fort selling for 10-15M is very reasonable considering there hasn't been a fort placed on this server in God knows how long. People are willing to pay out the nose if they really want something.

Keeps are still sitting around 3-5M, maybe more if it's an awesome spot (or if someone REALLY wants it).

Anything less than a keep is still hovering at around deed unless the spot is valuable. A large tower in the swamps is probably going to sell for deed while Barts large tower outside of Trinsic is probably worth 30M+.

Within the past year real estate hasn't really gone up as much as this thread is making it out to be.

These are the forts which publicly SOLD on forums in the last year, to the best that a forum search could come up with.
This means that in the past year forts have sold at an average of 9.26M - - - what inflation?

Also, I don't personally think that Punt's fort is worth 20M. However, he's taking advantage of the fact that there are no other forts up for sale right now. So, if you want a fort, pay the man. If not, then I'm sure he'll hold on to it until the day forts are worth 20M, then he'll ask 25M.

Sigh. So short sighted. All of these comments.

I'm not moaning and pissed off at all. Just trying to advocate the best interest of the newer players to the server and trying to ensure longevity of those players.

Alas, stepping on toes is always good for a forum post.
