Hah yeah great fight indeed! I love it when they fight back I was surprised at how long the npc navigator lasted against them

Love it! What is the ideal pirates template? I may have to build mine own!

There are several viable ones, and even more viable setups!
Since the seas are huge you will propably want tracking on your boat.

My prefered "pure" Pirate would be something like:
Archery
Healing
Tact, Anata
Resist
Tracking
Fishing (or: Magery, Hiding, any RP skill, Fencing)

The mix of Tracking/Fishing lets you track, well.. while fishing!
You can combine these and go for situational kills.

Hiding/Track will let you plot a course, hide and track while not worrieing about water eles and other stuff on the sea while you can huge distances fast.

Magery/Track is pretty much your standard scout, these are useful to track people on the sea, on the land, or while moving in groups.
Also useful for various server hunts like the easter event for example..

Magery is situational however, i run 30 on my dexer for example.. right enaugh to recall and put the other skills in Hiding - that works too!


We dont have any Template requirements on SOS, we expect piraty behaviour in our RP Zone/Town however!

Most honorable pirates! I must tell you that I'm constantly fishing in fear - aye - as though in waiting for your terrifying appearance. I feel as though the waves of the Sea scream at me: "Thou art next, thou art surely next!". And the dolphins, aye, the dolphins, jumping onto my ship deck, as if to say: "Flee! Or you'll end up in the water as we're on the dry deck!".

I wish to tell you in advance. I see your attack coming, and I'm terrified. I shall surrender at once, faster than the blink of an eye, and accept my fate. I shall lie there dead on the floor, blood pouring out of my throat.

I fish in fear. I have given up hope. I have surrendered.

I always wondered is the reds ran to the seas during fishing events!

Me and Azruk just spent two hours out hunting,...errr...fishing...and couldn't find but one person snuggled up in the guard zone.

But I hear fishing takes patience....

Har. I asked him to throw a BS at you anyway but he said some crap about not wanting to die. Pffft.

Since the end of April, sailors have been telling tails of pirate tamers upon the seas!
A few brave souls have ventured out to seek these dangerous encounters during the Pirate Tamer Voyage!​
