Champ Spawns. I have made over 15k plat from doing them. 15 ehtys and 18 runebooks plus 5k or so plat in deco so far.

Mostly vendoring - regs, ingots, lumber, arrows, other odds and ends.

Time - Generally playing fairly consistently through the years of UOR starts to build serious wealth. Hanging onto items, and earning to buy your new "wants" opposed to selling off everything to buy them.

Short Term - Holiday events can yield extreme wealth very fast, with intense play and a willingness to sell everything.

Goals - If u have something you want, you will play to get it. The minute you don't, that's when the breaks come.

Do something you enjoy... Whether it is farming, pking, champing, bods, etc... All have ways to generate wealth. I fish a lot mostly because I can play in small clips, doing level 1 maps, mibs, nets, and the big reward amibs.

To all you new players out there who wonder how to make lots of gold, I can tell you this.

A few days ago another player and I were showing each other our houses, and he took me to his house out by the Troll Camp, where the Forest Troll boss spawns. We noticed an empty spot where a house used to be so I ran to grab a deed...that deed cost me somewhere around 66k.

At the time of this posting, the auction for that 66k house is at 1.1 million gold.

If you pay attention while you're out adventuring, lucky real estate can make you some good money.

My first toon here was a provo/mage and made my early gold coins with that skill set. I broke down and made a tamer for the 1st time in my uo life, dating back to 1998 and now I use the pets to take on bigger and better things.

So basically I PvM...

I'm merely rich in assets, but acquired by Champ spawns, Amib's, Guild hunts and generally farming with my provo dexxer.

Last Easter ... ran around collecting as many Easter Eggs as I could find (sold for 1k/ea). Made little over 200k when it was all said and done. Not a YUGE fortune, but it funded GM Magery for a couple characters

If this was a contest, he would win for that right there.

You should avoid my advice.

Ways to earn wealth...

1. Kidnapping...
The more high profile the target the better.
Pick on those in weaker guilds as they will lack the militant strength to get them back through force.

2. Muggings...
Have at least one acomplice.
Keep the plan simple and have escape routes.
If successful, still know when to call it quits and flee the scene before backup can arrive.

3. Pickpocketing...
Lurk near high traffic, crowded areas.
The best areas are shopping malls outside of guardzones.
Always be talking and moving and pointing and screaming.
This will keep attention away from their pockets and on your words.

4. Mercenary work...
Some people want dirty work done and have the funds to buy good workers to do it.
Look for established yet suspicious people and inquire about black marketeer jobs.
