take what you will from my post - auctions are great at making people spend more than they might normally if there is a lot of interest in an item. you very likely could have gotten 4m for this statue if you started lower and let people outbid each other. your current starting bid you will have to wait for "the one" to see this put the 1 bid in and that will be it.
quickZ one more thing - HYPE this mother up!! did you know that there are only 3 of these statues in existence on this shard? thats pretty rare! Arctic ogre mage statues that there are 13 or so of in existence usually sell for around 1.2 mil. my opinion would be - trash this thread. dont just put up pics of the statue - let people know how exclusive it is give it some sex appeal. you need better defined auction rules as well - for instance do you accept platinum/holiday coin? Dont end on a particular day but the 24/48 rule is usually pretty good (auction ends 24 hours after last bid if there is more than 1 bidder and 48 hours after the last bid if there is only 1 bidder. Also dont forget that you make the rules in here. you can start the bid lower but have a hidden reserve stated that if you dont hit it doesnt sell. you will definitely get the rares hunters in here if you do this properly. good luck!!

As one who owns a lot of statues and one of my favorite things to collect, this is a great find. I'm so impulsive if I had it to burn I probably would. Sadly I'm so impulsive I got rid of all my currency a couple days ago and starting over in game so I can do is give it hype. The SB isn't to far off imo, good luck to whom layeth the bid down, it's great !
@Smash hit it on the nose. I would suggest listing what currency you accept. Plat, hcoin, runebooks, ethys, and any other trades possible? (at what ever value you care for). I dont imagine everyone is that liquid (as per @Dr Satan had pointed out for himself). Being one of three, i would love to see people bid each other for this. +1 bump
