Ok after doing some research and taking a few good peoples suggestions I've started a new thread. S/B 2.5M - I'll accept plat coins, blessed runebooks, and ethereal mounds as part of trade) This is a VERY RARE statue, only 3 know on the server (counting mine). what this auction is not over you bump it 24 hours after it was close you must not want to sell it to bad form man guess i am out retract my bid
Ah well, it would had been cool, but sometimes starting bids arent good enough, sometimes there is just a hidden hidden reserve ya know that appears 30 hours after auction ends. At least I still have other precious statues that i certainly wont cry to cause I wont be rebidding on the new auction. Thanks for fronting me though GeneK, i would of liked it if he would of sold. Edit, i will be crying to my statues cause i really wanted this in my collection
I believe things went like this: QuickZ asked how much this statue is worth. Someone told him it was worth 1-3 mil He posted an auction with SB 4m. Nobody bid on it. He made new auction with lower SB Someone bid 2.5m for the statue QuickZ bumped the thread after the time limit was over and the bidder won. The bidder got mad and rightfully retracted his bid. QuickZ made a new thread with higher SB QuickZ changed the old thread name so people can't find it and see that it's all a game. Did I miss anything?
He wouldnt trade for going on 30hrs after auction ended and wanted more bids. but pretty much it Ill get the next one, and there will be a next one.
actually the S/B is exactly the same... the OP didnt get time to come and bump this thread etc to get visibility so they are concerned they didnt get the best price they could. sucks for DS but he can probably get the same outcome if they do it again.
Well im not paying 4+ and now i wont pay 2.5 much less have someone front on my behalf just to have them refuse sale for what honestly was a good enough deal. I have about 15 to 25 statues, 2.5 is the most i ever was willing to pay, the money was there he declined. But i will move on, just wanted it clear the trade could of went down if it wanted to have been at that price.
The fact is, no one will bid you your auction again @QuickZ. Its like ebay, when you see a vendor 100% negatives
