yes, it was a fantastic day! the sun was shining and all that sweet blah blah blah. our walk was going well when we encountered a feral group of felines hanging outside of the Templar building... Bayara can't stand cats. their incessant meowing and habit of licking the butter if left out for even a minute with your back turned ::takes a deep breath:: ...are among her top pet peeves. John immediately had an idea. he began checking his pockets looking for some flint and a small striking stone. there was no reason to tolerate all this meowing... not when we had forgot to pack any road lunch. it turns out that John disliked cats as much as Bayara did. maybe even more as he was not afraid to get hands on with them. within seconds John had charged the first one, grabbing it by the tail with one hand, and punching it into submission with the other. while John duke'd it out with the cats, Bayara went inside the Temple to look for a few slabs of wood. maybe something to give the meat a nice smokey flavor. by the time Bayara emerged with the wood, John was standing there holding several KO'd kitties by the tail. as the fire was being prepped the cats were skinned and filleted. the meat was gamey as one might expect. but the thighs had a certain succulent quality that surprised them both. the woodpecker ate the eyeballs. having had their fill, they decided to leave the leftovers for the squires. no doubt they would be hungry when returning from escorting old ladies all over town. we found a suitable and respectable spot to leave the food where they'd be sure to find it. - END @Kizama @Derfel @Pekka
My beautiful clowder! I collected them from all over Britannia. You pesky brigands will pay for this!
Hrm. the orc has a point! this would explain why the prices are so reasonable... and why those vermin where hanging around the Knights tower.
