It seems like only yesterday our organizations were holding side ally fight club outside the Howling Sausage.

The sport has quickly exploded and now the WRW championships are being hosted atop the DeathKeep provided by Evil Dead!

The rules of the game are simple. Two contestants must flamboyantly enter the ring (this is your time to shine, be generous with those emotes!)
The contestants meet in the middle, shake hands, and get ready TO RUMBBBBLEE!!


Each contestant takes turns taking ONE swing each turn and then tabbing out (pressing the tab key). The ref will count which swing counts in a dispute. If the hit lands, the opponent takes one step back and you take one step forward. Then the opponent has a chance to hit back.


This is repeated until one contestant is forced off the canvas. (The White mat in the screenshot below represents the canvas. During 1v1 bouts only the center lane of the canvas will be used. The red and black are the outer floor. If you fall off of white, you are off the canvas).


The second part of this event will be the spectators! YES WE NEED YOU - to bring your bank checks to gamble! (note: do NOT bring gold or valuables such as house keys, boat keys, slayer weapons, etc. unless you want to risk it being stolen. We will have bouncers, but we expect they will be so preoccupied with the matches, that it is unlikely they will be able to prevent all attempts at thievery, if at all. Bouncers will primarily be focused on preventing acts that will significantly impede the matches (i.e. Dragon bombs, deliberate PvP)

In order to consolidate the time needed to take bets, the gambling will be non-standard. The house will always contribute 25-50k to the winning pool, and contestants will bet on 'who' they think will win. After each fight the total bets will be distributed among the winners (including the house). Each buy-in will be a minimum of 5k, you can bet more, but it won't increase your odds of winning, it will just increase the amount divided between all winners and the amount donated to THE HOWLING SAUSAGE!

Yes, all house proceeds will be donated to the Howling Sausage for inspiring this event! Without their fine ale and exquisite goat's milk, this great wrastlin contest may never have been discovered.

FAQ's
Do I have to have GM wrestling?
- NO, anybody with fists and a fire in their belly can contend!

If I fight, can I bet on myself?
- YES, the house will accept all bets even those of pride.

Can I unleash a fury of dragons in the event and kill everyone for fun?
- You can try, but you will be instantly banned from the premises if you speak Vas Rel Por (Trusted players will get a first warning of remove thyself, but repeat offenders will be booted and all bets will be forfeit).

I'm stuck in Ocllo and too afraid to drop young status to observe an awesome event. What can I do?
- First, we highly recommend you at least consider temporarily dropping young status. But, if stepping out into the great wide expanse makes your knees knock and your changes the color of your undies, fear not! We shall broadcast the event live to as many places as we can via the use TCCN (Trinsic Comm Crystal Network).

So according to the event area, two hits in a row from the same combatant, right off the bat, will win the round? Is it meant to possibly end that quickly? Just curious!

Yes, It is quite possible, but as it is turn based, you typically have at least one chance to get off the ropes. A two punch win is considered a KO and would happen like this 1 hit, 1 miss by opponent, 1hit! The matches moved at a decent enough pace and there we never any need to consider a "sudden death" situation.

In the exhibition matches we tested outside the Howling Sausage there were several back and forths. I suspect somebody with gm wrestle and defensive wrestle might do well but as this is the first championship title bout we suspect anything can happen. Swings out of turn won't be counted.

On June the tenth, I will fight several of the strongest wrestlers in town, maybe even the world.... and I will win because our heavenly father will be in the ring with me.... and I will win 10,000 pesos.

And with it, I will buy the orphans a big bus to go on field trips to parks and places like that. I'm serious!

In the past I used caps, skullcaps, and floppy hats dyed different colors with my tailor's mark on them. Each style hat was a different denomination of money and you'd buy them off the vendor, then after the event they would be exchanged for face value in cash.
