    You put a lot of thought into that. Normally, I would like the idea. But again, the whole blessed thing. And the fact that there are already "tram" instances that you don't lose items (aMIB, lvl 7 tmaps, Xmas events, ctf... Etc), and the fact you can create the best non slayer weapon in the game and have it blessed for a few weeks while on factions... I doubt others would want more blessed items. Great ideas though TBH.




    Again, picking and choosing things out of context. And you are comparing something in real life against computer generated coding and a "fake" game.

    And if you want to get technical, multiple coin flips don't even matter. Each individual flip is "50%". The thought process of multiple flips is just the gambler's fallacy. Not sure if you are just trolling or aren't aware of that in real life. But if not, google it and learn something new!

    Everyone wants to be opposed to blessed weapons but seemingly don't give any fucks at all that spellbooks (primary weapon of every mage) are inherently blessed, runebooks can be blessed, ethereals lol, and ever since the Zookeeper showed up to slather a heaping helping of fucking ultra-trammel on the laps of tamers, so are all your tames.


    It's already Trammel, except one specific group gets the hard fucking shaft because administration has never given a shit for them and somehow is a pot calling the kettle black when it comes to players not wanting to lose 1m+ when they get PKed by a group of 5.

    I made the argument before the Zookeeper hit that the only way it would make sense to do that (add potential for infinite bonding slots) would be to add blessed weaponry. Hell, even just slayers if possible. But no one really gives a shit about that. As long as the pixel hungry triple-box tamer crowd is pleased and continues to donate, by all means, give them what keeps the tears away.

    an thats the issue we only want balance Blaise you an i dont really cross paths other then pvpin a few times but we agree that warriors are the whipping boy of this server and we both want that little bit of balance. Maybe this time if we keep this post alive we may get it one way shape or form to show that warriors want some love to. =]]

    If I could have one dream it would be to make ghouls touch bows a BOD reward when (if?) that comes out for Bowcrafting. Those are so nasty and I miss them so. Suddenly that archer is scary, especially in a group.

    I cannot make a valid PvM comment as its something I have barely done in all my years of UO. I don't think I've ever had a slayer weapon and I suppose it wouldn't do me much good anyway.

    I r orc gold pleeze.

    I like the discussion though. Belok wants you to make his children stronger...but we don't expect to be a strong as tamers. We outsmart them which should embarrass them greatly.

    Having weapon bonding/blessing take control slots would limit a tamer/dexxer to 3 slots and a weapon. Yes that is still a strong combo but nothing too crazy.

    Then why not make the bonded weapon take up 6 slots?

    I was thinking about this while having my 5th margarita, "how would bonded weapons over power a non-dexxer?, I don't see how it would.

    It wouldn't overpower anything, infact the only thing it would change at the moment would allow higher tier weapons to enter the field and not cost the dexxer rediculous $$ when he died. Much the way tamers do not worry about their precious tames if they did. Add in some sort of large durability lose upon death so that large amounts of fortification powder is needed to use the weapon again, and I think you have something comparable to the skill lose of tames...one loses time, the other loses money to refit and return to the field.

    As for the 5 control slots, it would prevent 2 large pets, but still allow for a few single tames. 6 would work, but 5 I feel is enough.

    I read the most of it, not every detail. My 2 cents on the situation.

    1 - PvP and PvM are far different topics. Making changes to boost PvP, risks making detrimental issues with PvM and vise versa.

    2 - Pvp, Mages are better, basically because burst and ability to finish from a distance. 1v1 most dexxers can keep mages on the ropes all day till their supplies run out, its the lack of finishing ability that you risk using a weapon, and not distanced casting.
    - Group situation (dumb question), wouldn't the team that can cross heal each other always defeat the team that only can heal them selves and go on offense? So mages to me, just make scene to be stronger as a group

    3 - Pvm, dexxer damage is great, staying alive vs casting + high melee dmg monster is hard. Mages suck worse at Pvm, they require bard skills, and their dmg output is a fraction with mana limitations. Dexxers in Pvm are a glass cannon, easily to be worked around to kill the hardest of monsters (I do it all the time)

    Solutions-
    I don't feel game mechanic changes are the first solution. The balance is fairly close in my opinion, and it is at the risk of being lopsided with changes. Only 2 things I could really think of that would slightly help the situation, without game breaking changes.
    1st - barbed leather armor is far to strong, and should be 22-24 ar with invuln being mxed at 26 or so to help increase rolls.
    2nd - Higher armor increases the chance of 0 hits from wrestling. 0 hit from wrestling should not have the ability to land a stun because the punch did nothing. This would give motivation to wear metal armor to get higher values (because the cost of dexxers is high due to weapon cost)

    I used to regularly, but I added Provo on my favorite char to ironman Amibs and lvl 7.

    But I regularly do dexxers on champs with slayers, because you can 1 and 2 shot early tiers.

    lol, none of my dexxers are bards and I PvM with all of them. I did the amib ironmans with Blaise, my nox fencer. :)

    What if the bandage timer scaled with dex more so that mages with healing still have the same timer, but dexxers with lets say 80+ dex have much faster self-bandages?
