DiG - 36 Hours of Resist ! June 28-29th

DiG is proud to sponsor/host the next resist event titled - 36 Hours of Resist -

Event will be held at the newly established (re-established if you are old enough here) & renamed "Requiem Fort Training Center". Just above Minoc Stables

Time is Gold and Gold is Time ! This event aims to save BOTH & get our members and guests back out into the world EARNING !
The plan is to start EARLY on the 28th and run for 36 hours or supplies run out, whichever comes first with as many casters as I can find/trust
You will be able to show up hours before and take your places. But the casting will start promptly at 7am est. Be there on time to get the most out of this short run

Bandages are NOT provided by the host to train Healing. Only donated ones will be made available for general use.

You will gain & you will not die.

2. Donation Station just inside. Drop whatever you would like to donate on the locked down stacks. Your donation will become automatically locked down.
3. Donations appreciated, but not required. Pay it forward !
4. Must come in Dead - Go to the Green Flashing square to be Rezed - eat a couple fish steaks and move into The Pit
5. Stand anywhere in The Pit to build your immunity. The only spot you will not be struck are the Red Flashing Dots.
6. Follow the good behavior rules in the link above - no wrestling

There will be some intense casting so here are a few tips

DO NOT PUT FISHSTEAKS IN YOUR PACK - you don't need to in order to eat them
Eat ! It helps your passive HP regeneration. There will be over 100k Fish steaks. Eat till Full at the start, then record a macro of you eating them, put a 180000 ms (3min) pause, then check the loop button. This amount of Fishsteaks will sustain 100 resisters for 50 hours. MORE than enough.

Even though there has been a generous donation, Bandages are NOT unlimited. I have 100k bandages out for use at the start.
Look at the screenshot below:

Stand in the center, All resisters will be in range from that spot
Using the macro in the screen shot you will use a bandage on a random target each time through the loop. Right click the first line and choose "Re-Target". Target either stack. They are both within range of the center
It pauses for 30 seconds between healing attempts.
Please do not speed spam bandages, you are wasting them. If you need to gain healing buy it up, and you will still gain nicely here. (Above 80 healing the most efficient way to gain is on a Ghost, don't try to GM healing by healing the living - will park a ghost and some bandages here the following week if you want to train further)
With enough people running this same macro, bandages will last and folks will not be over healed.
There is no difference in gains between 1% health and 100% health

If you are standing on the red flashing dots, you have the chance to gain. The animation may not show you or others getting hit. THIS IS NORMAL. All casters are targeting the same spot. What you are seeing is folks resisting.

DiG will be donating 10k of each MS reagent needed to start this event off

Rezon's Occlo Vendor House will donate 10k of each reg, aswell as bandies and 1k MS scrolls.

i been helped. i trained free resist. its my turn to return into the community. its not much but it will help hopefully.
therefor i decided to donate my remaining cloth = bandages (about 500K)

as its too heavy to bring it to you, can you please PM on IRC and i ll hand you over the goods by deed.

good luck. i wont be participating to the resist festival cause im busy doing other things more important.

i hope this event will give the ones with missing gm resist the opportunity to catch up and feel more secure out in the lands of honorless pk's.

I have a character I was going get too try and train up resistance. Would love to join, just started playing not long ago but willing to throw in what I can to help fund the event....luckily I looted Freakystuff's house last night so have a few extra coin.

Congrats Merek on the loot.... Donate what you want, but seriously you do not need to. This event is designed for the same people that qualified for the Freakystuff event. Get you started and off the island. It is currently well funded and there will be more you can support.

Looking forward to seeing you all where we will re-christen(or whatever you call it in a wizard game) The Requiem Fort Training Center...

I understand but I just can't freeload...not in my nature...I'd like to contribute in some way.

What about bandages in lieu of coin? I'm GMing a tailor and can usually have around 10-20k bandages from extra cloth I can donate.
