I stopped by Qamra to pick up a few things and noticed she had a few things to be dealt with.

First a curious text from the Village of Paws, looking for vengeance on someone that went by the name of Villis?

Curious as I was I needed something to dirty my blade while I sought out this Villis...and Qamra had just the thing, a duty set out by the Guard Commander himself. I did not know that the Commander sent out duty papers through the free market of Paws, something I would need to look into at a later date.

Ogres...something I had not fought in a long time, and their ranks were growing it seemed. They must be dealt with! I checked my kit and knew I had enough to hunt down some of the stupid beast. I headed for the forest, and the wilderness of the Realm to track these lumbering creatures and sink my blade deep within their guts.

It proved quite a feat tracking these beasts as they were creatures that kept to themselves in the wild. In hind sight I should have hired a tracker of sorts to help with the process of finding these stupid creatures! But as time went I found it easier to locate the beasts and let my sword go to work.

With my blade bloody and my throat parched I needed a refreshment from the killing. The local ale houses of the land began to call my name, and this gave me a chance to inquire about this fellow named Villis the Village of Paws wanted vanquished.

    Vilis1.jpg

Finding no answers about Villis, but plenty of the frothy beverage I so enjoy!, I hit the road again to fulfill my duty of 50 Ogre heads!

The beasts were becoming more and more scarce. Had I killed that many of them already, or was there word out among the stupid creatures that there was someone hunting them? Questions that I could not really answered I decided to check out their cousins of the north in the Arctic.

    ogre3.jpg

With so few of their cousins in existence I thought of a new plan. The Dungeon Despise housed some of the foul creatures. I rechecked my equipment and made my way into the depths of that wretched place. Quickly I noticed how many of these lumbering buffoons lived here and figured this was the source of the Ogre rise on the outside. Laying waste to these stupid creatures was an easy task, but quickly my supplies dwindled and I needed to head to town and refit.

    ogre4.jpg

Once in town a request for adventurers came out from Paws and this gave me an idea. I could ask the Grey Wizard Jupiter about this Villis character direct!

    Vilis2.jpg

Despised...could it be, yes I was looking for someone, when I should have been looking for a place! Plunge it into the Heart of Vilis, Heart...a symbol, Vilis the power word for the virtue Compassion...the anti-virtue Despise...Ogres...they were all connected! Something must be down there. After our adventures with the great free people of Paws I headed back down into the wretched Dungeon Despise and found what I has suspected!

    ogre5.jpg

An alter of sorts, the Ogre Lords were using as a staging point for something greater? I flexed my fingers and put my bard skills to use as these beasts were far more difficult to deal with then their weaker brethren. Bodies began to pile up, when I head the great howl of something magical. In lurked the Ogre Champion, an Ogre Mage!

    ogre6.jpg

Although the mage was smart enough to cast spells, the beast did not protect it's mind from the bardic arts, and quickly I had the Ogres beating on each other. As the mage was worn down by its peers I prepared the blade Qamra gave me. Seeing the mage stagger I plunged the blade deep into its chest, striking the heart and felling the beast. Hearing a rumble in the distance I figured it would be wise to return to Paws and spread word that this foe had been vanquished.

Having tossed every club of the stupid beasts I slayed into a crate at my abode, I realized that I had also accomplished my goal of 50 Ogre heads. In fact I far surpassed that goal, the Commander would have to give me a raise!

*OOC- 81 total Ogres/Lords/Arctics/Mage were killed in the making of this story! And yes I should have had a damn tracker, those first 20-30 Ogres of the main land caused me to see some great sights, but my mystical mounts legs got tired!

If you are board with the same old grind, I suggest getting out there and picking one of these quests up and making the best of it! use your imagination and have fun, an adventure awaits under every stone, you just have to find it!

Qamra- @Jupiter does she have her own thread I can link?

Nicely done Cero. Wandering the world in hunt of Ogres sounds just my sort of thing!

    Bravo.
