Seems a lot of people pm me about some weird places I get to from my pictures in Misc Photography thread, so I thought I would start this new one and put up pictures of difficult placed to get to. Here's round 1. If you manage to make it up, post a screenshot of your success. I think these are considerably more difficult than what has been posted before. I did however verify that all of them can still be reached at the time they are posted. Please no spoilers/hints. Round 1: LanDarr 1/6 These are in order from easy to hard. Keep in mind, it took me many days time to figure out some of these, don't expect to magically solve the problem instantly. Not just in the lighthouse building, but inside the actual lighthouse part. This isn't too challenging, a good place to start. Fire Dungeon Lich Lord Hut roof. Pretty annoying to get up here. Spent 2-3 days trying myself with the help of @Jupiter even, but I finally managed. In hindsight, it wasn't that difficult. This would be a good "second goal". The top of the Occlo Evil Mage Tower. This one isn't terribly difficult, but still much more challenging than the others I have posted on other threads. Fire Dungeon evil mage rooftop. What looks like the obvious way to get up here, is most certainly not. Moderately difficult. Roof of the lookout tower south of East Brit Bank. This is extremely difficult to get to, and involves many steps and a good amount of time to even do it if you know what you're doing. Trinsic Tinkerer's Guild 2nd floor. This is practically impossible. @LanDarr @Jupiter @Dalavar @El Horno @Ecstatic @Kirby
Did Blackeye keep a forbidden record with in depth instructions about his secret combinations? If so beware it doesn't consume you!
heh I wish @Jupiter the snap challenges are frying my brain.... On a couple I can "see" how it can be accomplished... I lack the necessary skills
It took me a bit to master the art of Rel Leva Tectum Por. Now that it is mastered, I have many new 'heights' to explore! Also, here's one for you @snap dragon. I am curious to see, now that you've found your way up. Can you find your way... down? (disclaimer, I actually have no idea how I got down here, and not sure if I could do it again)
The lighthouse is at the northern tip of the Lost Lands, directly south of the Artic ice areas. There are two safe ways to get there. One is knowing about the secret passages in Yew prison. The other safe way is to travel by boat as the path to it is guarded by many nasties. If you go to the serpent pillar south of Skara Brae via boat and say the magic word "doracron" it will transport you to the Lost Land's sea. You may return by saying "sueacron".
Hey @snap dragon, thanks for the riddle. I learned alot about mechanics while figuring out a solution. However, unless you were kidding in your description about the difficulty to reach some spots, I must have developed a different method than you. All of the demanded spots are reachable without a difference in toughness... Let's go on with the proof shots. And extra for @Jupiter: (this one can be very easily done with two teleports actually, nothing fancy required... ) About the waterfall. I had to give up for now, especially since you don't know yourself how you got there. I imagine it was some ultra fancy-smancy you-cant-pass staff wielding trick while wrestling with a Balron. I am not sure, if that spot is reachable by normal means, tbh. However, I climbed a different way upwards and researched the origin of the corruption. Can you do it too, @Jupiter or anybody else? This is my contribution to the collection of interesting places. Have fun reaching that spot. (Or giving up frustrated)
