well technically others did bid on the shadow dye but they were not starting bids, so my SB did last more than 24hrs with no other bids. If he counts others as bids then the auction is still open. So...I dont know
48/24 format. Your bid 750k was first , so 48 hours started counting down. Namarra's bid 775k is second, so from now if no other bids for 24 hours, it is his. I am don't consider offers bellow 750k as a starting bid. So your bid was first.
Ok, Its your auction and you can run it how you want to but 24/48 means if there is 1 bid on an item and it lasts 24hrs its over. If there is more than one bid auction ends 48hrs from last bid. Im out on it and will not bid on your actions again. Thanks
I have always seen auctions here done like this, it is not my idea. 48 hours if only one bid, 24 hours if more bids. That is why it is 48/24 and not the other way around, as you have it. Sorry if I did not make that clear enough for you. If I understand correctly, you are withdrawing your bid.
I apologize @Airin. You are correct. I guess your wording and my wording in auctions are different....yours says 48/24 and all mine have been 24/48. No hard feeling bud.
I think that if you are going to sell something and only one person bids on it in 24hrs...either no one wants it for your price it to high. Just my thoughts.
I can understand having 48 hours if 1 bidder. This gives more time for other people to notice the auction and consider bidding. Same as with 24 hours if multiple bidders. You have the bid war going, so you don't need to wait 48 hours. I usually run my auctions with 48/24 ruleset, and that's the way I learned most people do that and it's how I always read it. 48 if one / 24 if multiple . Perhaps this should be explained better when creating auctions, as not to create confusion. Looks like many people can interpret it differently. Edit: Wording and logic
I think the Europeans do the opposite of Americans Either way, its your auction and you can run it how you want. I just misread his so it was my fault.
Grrr.... I hate MM/DD/YYYY always get confused But yes, I will write it out in more details next time, to avoid confusion.
