I like both Jack and Gideon, but excitement at the price and a sale got the better of their better natures.

PS when dealing with Bart and Gideon, its hard to establish a baseline, both have so many pixels that gold means very little to them.

@It'sallALark, you did indeed high jack this thread. If you had remained silent, it's possible that bart and Gideon would have entered a bidding war for this item. You offering the exact same item at the exact same price prevented that. Instead of establishing a baseline price for the bell, you cut the whole process off. Since it seems that both of these transactions have been completed, there's not much to be done about it. Let this serve as a warning to everyone that this behavior is unethical and is not allowed.

This is exactly what I was thinking, gidieon as looking at this thread, he could have dropped a bid but I figured it was best not to get into it any further. Jack knows what he did and why he did it, same thing when he sets up his macro on top of bulls i lured in to "Help" me. This guy does nothing for anyone but himself. Promted me to end my auction before someone DID decide to pm bidders and undercut me. +1 to bartimus for a smooth and easy deal.

seeing as how I only give about 6/100% of effort towards the game, I could play like that 100%, I don't think you guys would like it very much. I've kept myself trammeled out of respect for the small community, but era accurate Jack would be a nightmare for the players.
