I like the idea but unfortunately this will never be anything more than a forum post. Similar to the 200 other PvP threads that didn't receive real attention
It would be amazing to actually see a bunch of players running around Brit knocking out teeth and such. Totally into this and I'm not even in a faction (yet)

I'll tell you all the absolute easiest way to get pretty much everyone involved in factions. Are you guys ready for this? Wait for it.... Make faction blessings FREE! No hard coding required and doesn't change a MF thing except silver cost. I guarandamntee just about everyone would join factions, which without a doubt would create pvp action. I know there will be people saying no no no because *insert reason here*, but you have to ask what you want the most, your silver system, or more pvp action. I embrace the flaming... bring it on lol
No we need more groups on this shard maybe you should start a guild and start competing in the pvp scene. As it stands right now there are only 2 groups on the shard if you want more go build a guild and fight us
I get what you're saying but you didn't address my point and I expected nothing less. What I suggested changes nothing, so I left no room for people to cry about why it's a bad idea. I made the post to prove a point, and that point is people here want NO TYPE of change even if it doesn't really change anything.
I mean yes you could give free blessed weps to everyone and then have a few guilds running around with blessed valorite weps. If you want that I would not complain
But they can already do this. They just have to spend silver. This will cure multiple problems here. Would triple or more, the number of faction people and give dexxers a fighting chance. No change in mechanics.
They have to take over towns as of right now. Not many people want to go through the hassle of doing that. Like I said I don't really care if you want to make it a system where the rich will always have a advantage I don't mind
If what you say is true, then making faction blessing free would hurt absolutely nothing, since people wouldn't want to go through the hassle of taking over towns.
No it would not hurt anyone it would just widen the gap between people who are just starting to vets on the server. i don't care one way or the other. If you want more pvp though get off the forums and join the game start a group and pvp against us who actually pvp
The part of enticing people to actively join factions by saying "come pvp against us". It's a nice approach, but it hasn't really set factions on fire. I firmly believe what I'm suggesting will do just that.
