Is there any shard staff here? Please help!!!!! Account being stolen!!

today, i login my 1st account and i go to refresh my houses. I found that my Tower in Iceland was gone. My stuff in the tower, my tower... no nothing. (which i had just refreshed yesterday, cuz i login every single day) I thought it was bug.

And then , i login my second account. I found that, all the characters were gone... instead, there were two unknow characters were created in my account..........................


is this a bug or my account being stolen?

I came across this as a child! My friend was hijacked by an account, but he was to blame, did not carefully store his login and password, very strange !!

i have no friends playing with me in this shard and i am a solo player in the game. i did not even join any guild. no one know my password and login ID.

that guy even deleted all my characters in this account: one of them was Pretty
and created two characters in my account.

I guess, this guy is a Chinese because the name of the character is a Chinese name.

It is easy to check. This guy removed my tower and place a new house here.

it was showing the Two Story house on the web site. and now it changed to a large brick house in the game. The GM just check the log record to see which account own this house. Then they will know.

Did you maybe log into Test or something?


Edit: the more I think about this, I smell a troll.

no, i tried all three of my accounts, only one of them was being stolen.
and the tower was actually gone.... and the stuff inside, my characters........ all gone

the staff of the shard is able to check the log history and record.
i am just waiting for their official reply. don't need to explain much.

I would send a PM to Chris on the forums and send a message to him (Telamon) on IRC.

And then doubly unfortunate enough to get hacked by somebody that has played/does play UO and knew the mechanics and wanted to add further insult to injury by deleting your characters?

Question - do you have a dick head brother or a girlfriend that isn't totally stoked on you "playing at wizards in mordor" as my girlfriend delightfully puts it and would be inclined to fuck with you?

Might take a bit. Chris/Telamon is in charge of account issues and he works full time, so be patient. PM Chris here and Telamon on Irc He generally has lots of messages, and he might take the time to read the server logs, etc. before replying.

I accidentally told someone my password last week. I thought I was on the game screen not the PM window and quickly typed my password and hit enter.

I was like "Shit...well, there's my password" then quickly changed all the passwords on all of my accounts.

good to put a forum name to an ingame name!
