You Know You're Addicted to UO:R When... after a thirteen year break from UO you come back, play 10 hours straight and then start to have dreams in the following nights in which people have healthbars over their heads .. and you act accordingly
(title)... you dream you finished your pvp mage, fight in a tourny and win 10 mil. Then wake up... then cry...
When I devote more attention to and more concern for the security of my virtual houses than my real one. A mistake I know, Snap could be ANYWHERE!
A better question to ask is, "Why do you have a Camera to take a picture of your phone, while you babysit AFK gumps on the toilet?"
RMOAOAOFALFAOFAOFAL LOL! Oh jeez, i didn't even think of that. I've just been so used to seeing instant photos!
hahahahaha Also - When you stay up til 5:30a just to WATCH other players farm. - When you have weekly nightmares about your UO houses being looted/collapsing.
That's the truth Mobolin. I can't tell you how many times Les and I have been out farming or whatever until like 3am PST and I'm thinking to myself....does he have plantation shutters to close out the sunlight that's gotta be creeping in right now....
I've pulled a few all nighters since joining the shard. Something I haven't done in any game since leaving Sonoma years ago. Well that and getting old. The shard is doing something right if it's got me back to old habits. The hard part is concealing that from my wife. She'll go to bed and it's "I'll be there in just a little bit dear" and when she wakes up in the morning it's "oh I fell asleep in the chair/on the couch, just woke up". Then she logs in and I have no choice but to keep playing. It's a hard life.
Most of my days off are during the week when she is working so the question I dread the most when she gets home is, "what did you do today?". That's a tough one to answer. Umm I farmed dread spiders in the morning and then fished up some mibs and, oh, I got 2 a mibs to do with Balla later and..... Hard to account for my day when the most productive thing I did was spend half an hour getting my daughter off to school.
