Note to @Airin, white text is invisible to those of us using the forum skin called XenBase (because dark text on a light background is easier to read for some of us)…

Also, I have been directing people to the shop that are looking to buy pec meat but I don't think anyone is selling it, are they? It would be nice to be able to point them at a guild vendor instead of ReZon's overpriced shop in Ocllo…

I added some stuff to my 2 vendors at the roof today:
    • Paintings
    • Broken Barrels
    • Pillows
    • Chests
    • Shells
    • Weapons, a Vanq Katana and some Vanq maces, cheap
    • Heavy Crossbow power
    • Lockpicks - 8gc
    • Arrows and bolts - 7gc
I also refilled my vendor at Rezon's shop in West Ocllo (next to the healer/baker) with cheap armor and weapons suitable for the young ones, Force and Hardening 200-250gc each, arrows, bolts and lockpicks. Check out Vivian there.

Request: Can someone from PS permanently stock chests for raising Lockpicking? Common knowledge is that you need 30/30, 50/50, 70/70 and 100/100 chests, while the numbers are standing for carpentry/tinkering skill.

Most important is the 70/70 chest, as the lower ones can be made with new toons and the GM is usually availlable in shops anyway.

And sorry if it's already provided in your mall. If so, then free BUMP.

Thanks Blackeye, but the 70/70 is a problem. All my crafters are GM by now, so that one is hard to make. Lets hope someone else is training a crafter and can make a ton of them before they skill up.

No idea, Pekka. Usually it's 70/70, but I don't know the boundaries and limits. I think, even the connection between carpentry and tinkering isn't even understood here (or anywhere else).

I can place some 30/30 and 50/50 on the tinker vendor along with the existing GM ones. Can't make 70/70 boxes but don't think they are need , can jump from 50/50 box to GM box for lockpick training

@BlackEye Well I would like to make some and place on my vendor as well and you can try them, if you have a suitable char. I think the tinkering is the most important, not the carpentry really, but we can figure that out together maybe? :) But I cant do it right now, we have to wait until later tomorrow evening CET when i get home from Xmas celebration (we do that on 24th in Sweden). I can give you a note when I added them.

@Merek Tybalt What price will you set?

I am not in the position to test it, sorry. I am just speaking on behalf of all the want-to-be LPers that are asking for 70/70 boxes regularly.

Okay. I make one anyway and add it, and we await a report from it if somone will make one? :)

@BlackEye I train Disarming at the moment, I am at 96 and increasing slowly but steady on a carpenter 40 bigger crate but with GM tinkering (at the same char) and Greater Explosion pots and it works great, so I guess it all depends on the tinkering skills, not the carpenter skill even for LP. I get 0.8-1.0 skill points for every 5-600 traps, which is aprox 0.1 / 50-60 traps. Expensive but I do it with a macro during nights so... Carpenting doesn't seems to matter much really in this case.

That's the common assumption that you need 70/70. I don't know on what basis you would assume something different. You might btw be completely right and it doesn't matter, I just don't see anything pointing in one or the other direction. One would need to test the effect of carpentry and tinkering on the difficulty of locks.
