Was asked.... Why are the 70/70 boxes 10k? Explanation: This character is garbage now. Garbage. 140 points locked on making boxes for LP. Nothing else can really be done with this character. Maybe some other crafting for BoDs and what not... So I gave up a character slot... all for your boxes
/beginrant I currently am doing the exact same thing, I've missed out on tinker gains as I have it locked at 70 while raising carp to 70. Add in the fact that if that's the only reason this character was made was for this reason that's a good 25k or so boards and a few thousand ingots that you've lost for this sole reason to make this character. As much gold that's flowing in this server I don't necessarily think these are unreasonably priced. Go kill liches for 20 mins with a crappy peace dexer... You should never need more than one anyway. /rantoff
No worries I'll wait until you get tired of meeting the demand, there just hasn't been anyone doing these until you came along. Honestly I have been meaning to do this for the past 2 months. But instead I've done 99 things in UO but so far a box ain't one.
Who in their right mind would balk at 10k...? Keeping two skills locked at 70 for no other reason, I'd charge more man.
My thing is this: I'm gonna get tired of asking trade, IRC, etc. If folks ain't got what I want, I'll find a way to get it myself, and then I will get it for others in case they need. Bout to work on that LP book. Gonna sell for 50k each (dat $hit dangerous)
Just a question - why don't you make 300 boxes at 70/70 and then raise those skills? That is what I wished I had done when I was training my crafter.
300 sounds like a good number now But I have already sold 16 in 2 days I think over the course of the server, 700-900 might be more appropriate Where would I store all that?
