I believe it is being auto refreshed until it is deemed appropriate to do a lottery for it or maybe a anni event prize?

Let me set the record straight to avoid this thread spiraling out of control... since I once owned this property. The fort was originally placed by Rasputain. Rasp Kali and I played lots together in early UOR. When he left, the fort was given to Kali and I. We never used it much and I simply was refreshing it. Kali and i sold the property to @SneakyT for deed cost which back then was still considered alot of gold but he was our friend. @Treasureman and @SneakyT acquired the entire island with the purchase. Fastforward.. Sneaky left for years,tman retired, homes to be raffled. What tman failed to realize is the fort was never transfered to his accts. Fastforward sneaky returns and starts using his fort again. Tman cant kick SneakyT out of his own fort so technically it is out of raffle i think unless u can convince SneakyT to donate it. @SneakyT and @Treasureman please verify above and add any comments Thanks
Due to an oversight on Treasureman's part he failed to realize that a player, who had quit and gave him a house, never actually transferred the house to him. So when he gave up his player accounts, and accepted a staff account he continued to refresh the houses to be used in a future raffle. As we were about to raffle that house off murphy's law steps in and that player returns and starts using the house. Treasureman's old houses (at the time he became staff) are technically property of the server at this point and cannot/will not be transferred to a player. Since Treasureman never owned the house in question (but was mistakenly refreshing it) there was not much we could do. As he does not have access to his accounts after becoming staff it was an easy mistake to make. I have asked him to talk to the owner about returning the house to the auction should they ever quit playing. But for now it will be excluded from the plans. Can't really explain why the player never changed the sign, some times people just like to make our lives a headache. Regardless nothing nefarious, it was never owned by a former player that eventually became a staff member. It was just accidentally refreshed with the assumption it was. The raffle for the rest of the houses on the island will take place sometime after Easter.
Just figured I'd pipe up because I was tagged and the topic was a about me. All the large homes besides the fort I own (bought from kali ) took a ton of planning and patience to place . Marble has been unchanged now for years. With that being said, I'm happy the houses instead of going idoc and dropping, will be rewards from this raffle. I am happy to let you know if I have to quit for any reason in the future I will request the fortress be a shard event non PvP event house drop. I think this would be a fun idea considering i myself enjoy idocs. If that time ever comes I have to quit I'll hide "vouchers" in the fort for players who are lucky enough to loot the containers one may be hidden in . The vouchers will be for my character bank loot and equipped items at that time. [Keep in mind this event would have to receive the staff's blessing, I just wanted to be clear I'm not going to just deed the fort or sell it for a gold grab and quit ] I hope to be a part of this community for a long time. And I am happy to be getting new neighbors after so much time has gone by. I look forward to playing with all of you!

I think Chris read this wrong. I changed the sign the day I logged in. Maybe an oversight In other news, I'm 32 today !
@Chris the picture has both forts in it buddy. The sign with raffle info is -west fortress -Tmans old spot. The picture next to it with the sign changed -south fortress- is my spot. The screenshots are of two locations side by side. Unless I'm just understanding your original post completely wrong... this should clear it up. The only reason I'm even still talking about this is because of the "headache" comment.
