Jakob controls Franz but Franz transcends Jakob.

Ok guy, this is one of those situations where you're probably laughing to yourself thinking you're a smooth criminal an everyone else thinking you're a herb and it just ends up hella cringey and embarrassing.

So before you break yo wrist pattin' yo self on the back take a pause guy.

I think you think like that because you think I take the game as serious as you do. You're over-analyzing this, I just laugh at most things in this game. Can someone please back me up on this? I call upon my brain trust entourage, @One @Jupiter @snap dragon... @Ponne even!

Yea come on @One @Jupiter @snap dragon & @Ponne back your homeboy up here, cause I don't see anyone else congratulating him on trying to scam a new player out of 2 mil.

Franz yea. If he did succeed, hopefully he'd be a nice enough dude to give some amount back.

You deserve to be scammed out of 2 million for that picture of scratch and sniff pickle alone.

I'm pretty sure that was @Mandevu anyway...

This is why I keep my characters (mostly) to myself.

I jumped all over someone once when I was playing a new character. I mean I went on a all caps rage fest about how they were taking advantage of new players, how unfair it was, etc. I moved it over to IRC and really lost it to an embarrassing level. This went on for 15-30 minutes.

The whole time I was using two alternate accounts to loot a colleague of theirs during the action/distraction.

Good, bad, neutral and the emotions that come along with it. That's UO. We signed up for it.

Having "enemies" vastly improves the game. Be it a thief shaking their fist at "the man", a Dread Lord plotting against the righteous, or a tamer that is so tired of it all they finally take up PvP training and merk some fools.

What Jakob did was dirty, sure. I say log out of the forums, log in game, and bring him to Justice! (e.g. have fun)
I'd hope to see cesar and friends exact revenge somewhere down the road and live to tell the tale.

He didn't catch the boots cause Cesar had the smarts to check them 0's.

I'm just calling Franz out for some bum ass moves.

@Jakob the kind of guy that does 8 piece jigsaw puzzles and does the maze on the back of the paper menu kids get at restaurants.

Lmao Clown boy is annoying as fuck as a thief sometimes and frustrated the hell out of me on multiple occasions, Especially during halloween GRRRRR. but we still hang around him. He even looted my guildies house at one point and we still kinda chill around him. He keeps us on our toes and we always double reveal after he "Recalls"

He gives zero fucks and is not serious in the way most people are. Also his outfit makes me laugh everytime he walks by.

@Jakob You do you buddy. Stay real.

also atleast he isnt trying to lie about it like most people would do.

Franz is a stand-up person who is likely our shard's best-dressed character, makes hilarious comic strips, and just generally doesn't give two ****s about what other people think. That's what makes him great, and he's a damned good thief too. Mad respect for someone who just gets on, does his thing and doesn't worry about the consequences.

If there were such a mistake of a missing zero (or several...), clearly that would have just been an honest mistake or perhaps his '0' key doesn't always register.

Don't let that talking pickle-turd, or whatever the f*** it is, get ya down Franz! I think you might have a new candidate for a major Pfniffeling!

I mean, look at this honest business man's avatar and signature, wouldn't you trust him 100%?

I wouldn't be too critical with Franz here: Considering that the OP is selling high valued items that are only obtainable by participation in an event with a somewhat developed toon, I wouldn't consider the OP a noob anymore. The fact that he doesn't own much, doesn't mean that he get's any special treatment. And, it's not like, Franz has the full background story of the OP and knows the amounts of young-status toons that he owns. Apart from that, they wouldn't matter. Young-status doesn't mean noob automatically.

So the only problem might be the use of the forum. Afaik, Franz didn't use a scam tactic in a public thread and PM'd him directly. Telamon might rule that this isn't allowed either, as he provides the forum service for the community, but this PM-scam isn't as serious an offence like scamming in the trading thread directly.

"It's a new player!" - Nobody can be bothered to verify that, let alone care.
"It was a forum scam" - No it wasn't, no rules were broken here.
    "My verdict is..." - Irrelevant

I'm going to try another approach from one of the UO greats at forum replies.

This is what happens in a trade forum? I went from checking to see if my bro had sold his boots to seeing scams mixed with trash talking. Isnt that stuff suppose to be in the trash talk section of the forums? I'm just curious. not trying to talk shit and get involved. Just curious is all.

Thank you for your thourough exposition, as may always be expected from @One! Alas, you were pfniffeled on your evidence: this scam was a pure in-game event, as I would always be careful about, as would all of cA! So, like almost always your argument fails – except where you glorify me. But wait, even there! I bet you cant find any evidence in this whole shard's history of me giving stuff back or selling them back at a discount, mostly I offer stuff back at a grave overprice! You're simply assuming this based on the mercy of other thieves; I rob 9 year olds and ride away laughing in the sunset!

This is fake news! @One what's the foundation of this adamant conviction?
