Is Fluffy really all that good as a pet?

I've looked at the stats, vs a dragon it has more HP but less str which should mean less dmg dealt

For what it's worth, fire breath damage depends on HP, so it might do a few points more damage in that regard. No telling how the lessened strength plays into it's DPS until someone actually trains up a comparable fluffy and dragon and test it doing something like that 10 dragon DPS challenge that @Keza invented to standardize it.

Fire breath is calculated on HP, so it should do monster damage with those puffs.

(I do not own one, and have not tested it, only going on what in theory should happen)

I have 2 7xgm fluffies and against a similar 7xgm dragon, the fluffy will kill it more than the dragon kills the fluffy. Its not crazy better, but the fluffy is stronger. same against white wyrm. I think it was a good addition and would be pissed if they were nerfed. No reason new pvm tamables cannot be introduced.

    I agree.

People are going to complain its a tamer buff and whatever, but honestly it doesn't matter. If it's 2 fluffy or 2 dragons, either way what is going to kill a player is bad timing and the two syncing them, and in both cases you're going to die. Nobody is going to try to out defend your dragon DPS. As long as the timings don't change so they breath fire more or something, it's fine.

As a professional non-pvmer, I'd like to see more new animals. Give us some random colored street dogs to collect with some colors more rare and give them some slightly different stats. Make pet fighting worth doing. Also regular horse color variation. Why can't just use hue to spawn some slightly darker/lighter horses of all 3 default base color schemes. People like this kind of thing, and it's totally harmless.

@snap dragon fluffys fire breaths are 49-50damage pet that can kill any player with just fire breaths. That needs a little nerf imo

I mean just normal colors. You remember how plate armor used to be in many different hues in real UO and people collected them, but it was always just slightly different hues. Like a shadow plate helmet that was a little darker or lighter. Not like a neon pink one or anything like the green and pink horses.

I vote for a rideable purple energy vortex same llama stats but rideable or make a new mount for battle like a raging bull that has no magic but hard wrestling hits. Come on a rideable raging bull that would be dope!

Chance to tame a purple llama vortex whenever you get it to randomly appear. But has to be tamed before it vanishes.

That and mountable silver serpents and gazers.

YES!! Now we’ll be able to say “I want the barmaid in Vesper to ride my silver serpent!”

In all seriousness, a pack of silver serps would be something to behold!! OP AF!!

personally, I allready have a keep, multiple small properties, blessed runebooks, ethies, wands, and regs, etc etc.... After a certain point, money only matters if you want shiny things.. I don't want to start collecting anniversary clothing and sandals..... so its something unique and semi useful. besides i got to start using all these bonding slots on something
