I thought that the stress of this tournament was getting to be too much for both of us. My partner took out some of her frustration on a dolphin. She certainly has gotten good at casting spells AND casting the fishing pole! After some resistance and suspicion, Violeta agreed that we should go swimming a bit. Looking for less turbulent waters, we came across this strange pillar. I have not seen this before, so I marked it on my sea map so that I may return after the tournament. The water there was calm, but I was hesitant to swim near such an ominous structure. Who knows what kind of magic is involved with that thing. With all the serpents we have killed the past few days, I decided to just move along. The opportunity to swim passed as Violeta grabbed her pole and began fishing again. My distraction did not work. Back to the open seas, I guess.
