I'm wrapping up and going to bed! My results: 1. 32 big fishes 2. 3. Some silly number of L1 maps, nets, MIBs...
Someone's been throwing nets again! Damn you for disturbing my fishing peace. Also Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Congrats to Dooker for accomplishing a fishing feat!!! Feat: First 38 stone fish weighed in; 38th Fishing Tournament Prize: an empty pot of gold & a leprechaun outfit
Captain's Log 050520182130 Due to a disagreement with my fishing partner, this is the last fish we are submitting for the tournament. Violeta wants to continue, scolding me for taking a break earlier today. We had to stop to offload! We were to heavy! With this last catch, I have my two big fish to bring to @Zyler for the tournament. I will have to be enough. I am done. I did everything I know to do these past few days. I have a lot to learn, but in the course of our argument, I was forced to tell her that it is my boat, I am the captain, and the captain's word is law! We will be hoisting anchor and setting sail towards Trinsic for the weigh-ins. If I have learned anything from this trip, it is to add another member to our crew. We could use an extra pair of hands to increase our yield. At a minimum, I need another set of eyes on Violeta. While I believe she has no equal on the water, her time in the brig must have made her a little unstable. She keeps pouring over those green and blue parchments we found as if there is something magical about them. Now that the tournament is all but done, I will give her some time back on land before I approach her about everything that has happened these past few days. Pappy always said to let cooler heads prevail. I'm banking on it.
Welp, I'm done. I had hoped to bag a wee fish to end on a high note; all you single-digit catchers suck . Still, for 17 hours of fishing, I didn't come up too short. 25 nets 22 mibs 1 expert map and my first purple AMIB and an 1170 net. Thanks @Zyler for running these cool contests!
