What is expected: When attempting to tame an animal with a skill requirement higher than the tamer's current skill the tamer is notified they have no chance of taming the creature. What is happening: When attempting to tame an animal with a base skill requirement below the tamer's current skill that has been tamed several times the tamer is able to begin taming with a 0% success chance. Example: My tamer has 62.3 skill, if I attempt to tame a grizzly bear which has already been tamed by another tamer (now requires 65.1 skill) I am able to start the process but will never succeed. Impact: Stressful for new tamers as we get caught in a loop taming the same creature and it takes a long time to realize you are neither gaining nor succeeding. Thanks! ~Sarloth
Yea it can be a pain . People should be changing name or killing it to make it easier on you . If you loop for more than 6-10min without a gain I would just kill it and move on.
