    Selling weapons by charge:

    Gold Runic charges: 25k
    Agapite Runic charges: 70k

    Gold Runic hammer: 250k
    Agapite Runic hammer: 1.25M

    Additionally, you can rent-a-runic!

    how Rent-a-Runic works:
    1) we arrange some kind of collateral trade for the hammer
    2) you use the hammer to create, faction bless, or do whatever else you wish
    3) you give the hammer back and get your collateral, minus the price of charges used

Hopefully this provides a safe way to allow factioners to have their smiths whip up some blessed weapons, and gives me some cash to keep rolling in this BOD game.

I am happy to detail and confirm any collateral deal in this thread to ensure there are no concerns over terms.

Excellent thinking. I'll be happy to assist with any SL Faction crafting for this, should I be available, for no extra charge.

    ^

Do you people not want to kill each other or something? Are all factions getting along in perfect harmony?

sorry there's only one faction right now. 1-2 months ago was a different story.

Bump for a screenshot of a badass hammer. Apparently you can make these hued in the "primary" or "secondary" color of a faction. So, it looks like a gold hammer but is in fact agapite. Shadowlords, you are on notice.

Oh, hahah, yeah, I know you can make 'gold' hued weaponry for True Britannians. Good notice for those unfamiliar with the Purple and Gold faction colors and crafting.

If you don't mind disclosing the details, I would like to know how you crafted said items. Did you just take the easy route and join TB on a smith?

The location and handling procedure of the bajillion dollar runic hammer will not be disclosed, especially not to someone in a position townkill said handlers :)

Oh no, I don't care about the logistics, I was just curious how you handled collateral or if you crafted the weapon yourself by joining a faction. I'm not the kind of person who would come townkill a faction crafter for a runic hammer. Granted, if it were three years from now and factions was a big ongoing thing, I wouldn't say never. At this stage, there's no way I'd ruin someone's game like that.

For what it's worth, I don't do crafting without a guard or some serious seclusion.

It's part of the game; if you're able to secure an agapite runic hammer for your faction, that's a pretty big win. I'd be bummed, but I think it's definitely a part of the system and is far from ruining things.

For this reason, I take precautions. Like, not spilling the beans on a forum to a potential enemy.

That said, consider me like the United States in this "conflict". I am more than happy to contribute arms to both sides. So I can certainly make accommodations to provide weaponry to the Shadowlords as well.

The beans on how you handle collateral has literally nothing to do with who crafts and where. I don't care about that, I'm just curious from the perspective of someone who also has these hammers, how you handle people that you don't know, using your hammer or getting weapons from it. Not sure why you're playing this drawn out veil of secrecy. There's only so many towns and if we really wanted, we could just figure it out, but like I said, I'm only curious about your methods for collateral and crafting, not the who and where.

I guess research has its merits.

For the first time, I think perhaps there is a valid reason to have characters multiple factions, if faction crafting is ALL you do in Factions.

Otherwise, I still feel that no single player should be able to join multiple factions. :)

Yeah, I'd be happy to join SL with another smith if needed.

I also think there should be some possibility of double-agents and such, so for that reason too I think three associated accounts should be able to be in up to three different factions. But, thiis is from a semi-outsider's perspective.

Sadly, it would be abused %99 of the time by people camping other faction bases with their aligned alts, etc. There is no reason to accommodate it, other than this minor convenience for crafting. I'm still strictly opposed to multi-faction 'households'.

    :)
