I took a whack at fluffy last night and found myself wanting. He seems to have an endless mana pool. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions for taking him down?

    Tips for a tamer:
    • Use trained dragons
    • Bring another account to heal your pets
    • Bring a friend to help heal your pets
    • Supplement bandages with GHeals
    • Gate out in order to heal up when needed (make sure to bring gate scrolls so you don't fizzle)
    • Provoke him onto nearby wildlife for a brief break (only the easter bunny is completely immune to provo)

Alternately, you can spam a trillion blade spirits on them. I've heard two accounts spamming blade spirits is enough to overwhelm it.

This actually works with a bunch of high-end monsters. You can bandage your pets much faster than the monsters heal themselves. So if you knock it down to 75% health, but gate your pets out when they're close to dead, when you come back with them fully healed, it will only be back up to 80% or so.

Most special boss monsters on this shard are practically impossible to run out of mana; you'll kill them long before they run out. But health regenerates slowly, and they don't spam GHeal or anything, so this war of attrition works pretty well.

Have not tried it myself but I understand that using 2 mages on 2 clients it is possible to overwhelm the beast with blade spirits.

Keep him poisoned. I have found that fluffy absolutely hates being poisoned to the extent that he will ignore all offensive spells until he is cured.

I use what I like to call a fluffy trap kit which costs about 43k (when you think of it this is actually far cheaper than the cost of making two GM mages). The trap consists of one small house deed, three tables and a magical garbage can.

    Step 1 find a fluffy
    Step 2 stay alive
Step 3 find a clearing nearby to construct your trap by placing house, lock down tables, keep garbage can in your pack...
Step 4 after trap is set lure fluffy to it. You'll need live bait to coax him inside, I find that any humanoid character is suitable.
Step 5 place magical garbage can to complete your barrier with fluffy on the OPPSITE side (note: failure to follow step 5 often leads to failure of step 2)
Step 6 proceed to cast poison field on fluffy and add blades spirits
Step 7 (clean up) loot fluffy and then deconstruct trap. Please make sure you leave the wilderness cleaner than you found it

Here are some examples of the higher end models of the Fluffy trap. Please note I do not recommend these larger models safari hunts of this creature. That's a lot of logs to be lugging around in your pack, and due to some odd reason, you are unable to actually remove any trees from the terrain. (trust me, I've tried. Even these 'client mods' that the young kids call em only result in tree stumps which cannot be removed...)

Anyhow, hopefully from these shots you can see how to make your own fluffy trap. As the Easter event draws to a close, I hope all responsible Sosarians will help in the effort to eradicate these giant pests!

Does work indeed. Warning, when using bait use non grudge holding bait, lest bait get angry and try to axe you in your sleep. -.- *waves axe* :p

That is an interesting tactic to take down the beast. I had no luck with his or his little buddy.
