BlackEye was strolling around the street. His mood was better than usual. It was the day after the great heist. @Fatty Mike 's keep had been emptied, and BlackEye's vaults were full.

A keep squeezed into one of his towers in Hidden Valley:

Rares, blessed sandals, masks and defensive robes, dozens of runic weapons with a agapite shimmer on them, treasure maps, enough reagents to open a alchemy shop, bulk order collections, furs and carpets, leather of all types and ingots that would raise envy of any dwarf, tons of wands, dyed furnitures, gems and rare herbs... mhmmm... herbs, great, my collection of them was running low and stale...

    FMKeep.png

BlackEye's mood was dropping... He was thinking to himself... "Such an irony... it is so easy to loot and collect all these wares from careless Sosarians, but the real work begins once they are in my towers... all this sorting and dragging, pushing and pulling... awwww... my back hurts only by thinking of it..."

Thus BlackEye decided to carry on strolling around Moonglow.

What was that crowd doing there?!

All kinds of people were gathered around a message board. Big, colorful letters were reading...

    upload_2018-12-23_10-58-7.png

A long letter was attached below the picture...

"Oh boy, what have I done!?! This mind-wiping potion must have messed with Jimmy's head and he seems to have been hallucinating things... I knew these herbs weren't good anymore!"

BlackEye had to clarify this mess. He had to explain Jimmy that he was involved in a top secret heist but for security reasons his memory should have been erased with a magic potion... and now he was thinking Santa Claus gave him a early houselooting present... and all this publicity.... by the virtues...

    KAL ORT POR!

Off he recalled to one of his secret hideouts and started writing a letter.

"Jimmy the Hand from the Mockers,

We should talk, meet me for drinks.

    -BlackEye"

OOC: Two days ago, I managed to sneak into Fatty Mike's keep and looted a large amount of MiD IDOC wares from the roof.

    FattyMike2.jpg

It was a great haul (5-10 mil worth), no doubt, but behind one or two more layers of security there was more loot waiting to get a new owner...

    FattyMike3.jpg

However, I had RL duties going on and my time was limited. Thus, a very promising thief, @JimmyTheHand , was contacted and gated inside the Keep to pursue further fame and riches beyond my grasp. Although he didn't get past the next layers, he indeed managed to acquire his fair share of loot that was left back on the roof and in one of the corners of the Keep. Jimmy wasn't sure, whether I wanted to stay anonymous, so he kept my name out of the original post he did 2 days ago.

I guess that sums it up (out of character-wise). Hey Jimmy, I hope we can band together another time and see what we can achieve together in the future. Until then, thanks for all the fun role-playing posts. It was a great read.

    @BlackEye Thanks Santa!

Merry Christmas! It was a great time had and I'm sure a pigeon, (or ominous black bird) will land outside one of our windows soon!
I LOVE the poster on the board! *grin*

I dedicate this video to BlackEye and our latest victims. Pay close attention, that grin is very Jimmy like. The dancing, performed repeatedly.

To everyone else - always, always make sure you know if someone wants to be in a RP post, especially if their character will speak. It's how I was taught as young'un by some of the best story tellers I've ever had the pleasure of gaming with. If you can't, always leave an opening to expand the tale or glorify them beyond their player's expectations.

From the moment Jimmy heard those bells he was in a full blown hallucination! (the herbs, it turns out)
The real Hand of Christmas however, is still unexplained and yearns for more books!!

Epic heist and thread guys! I still can't fathom people in this day and age still keep stuff they don't want to loose in NON secure areas, I thought we all covered this lol.

Occlo is a town that begs for mischief: the homeless zombies around the bank, the war-torn young fresh from the sewers, the reagent hoarders, and on this day, yours truly. The homeless zombies around the bank always bothered me, with their empty backpacks, and smug-yet-vacant stares... until today. Now I love them more than the Internet loves kittens. Well, to be specific, just one of them.

Hiding behind a tree, inconspicuously mounted atop a freaking polar bear (I mean, who thinks "You know what's stealthy? A goddamn polar bear, that's what. Yolo and such."), was a crafty fellow by the name of "craft T". A polar bear in Occlo... this demanded my immediate attention.

This "craft T" must have done some extensive adventuring to obtain such a creature as his beloved companion. And where you find adventure, excitement, and really wild things, you oftentimes find items of great value. This time, my friends, was one of those times. Is that what I think it is?

The axe glistened as the sun lowered ever closer towards the horizon (as the sun is known quite well for doing), and I knew that many dark elves could fall to such a weapon. I mean, come on. I had to. So I did. Well, tried to.

As Irving the guard arrived like a lightning bolt and sliced me from scalp to waist, two things occurred to me.

    1. Plan A sucked.
    2. I'm extremely relieved Irving's weapon didn't travel any farther south.
Strangely enough, "craft T" didn't blink. Like, not even once. Your humble chronicler was torn asunder less than a yard from his face, but nothing! Zombies, amirite?

His complete lack of responsiveness allowed me to take my time, delving into my book of tricks to figure out how I could make the axe mine. What would it be? The Minoc Maneuver? The Sacrifice Shrine Shimmy? The Yew Yoink? Child's play, all of them!

Only one technique could win me the axe and have me home before supper: it's time for the Occ Blocc. If you shake a tree long enough, fruit falls to the ground. And so, I shook and shook, until something shiny and quite deadly to dark elves (those fuckers) fell to the ground.

While I pride myself on finesse, sometimes fortune demands a heavy hand. As the kids say, "thug life".

Gather 'round friends, and let us raise a dram to one Franky Fish, the most heavily armed sailor I've seen in some time. Can one effectively swing a rod with valorite plate from head to toe? Franky Fish must know something I don't, though I grant you, the sea is a mistress I've yet to invite to the warmth of my bed. Or something like that.

Making my rounds in my new Adidas™ gear, the glint of Franky Fish's armor summoned me closer. Valorite means valuables, and valuables are my trade. As I snuck over and hid behind the business end of his horse (never a great decision, but a thief's gotta do what a thief's gotta do), I spotted a golden ship key! Of course! Franky Fish fishes for fish, so why wouldn't one decked out in such expensive armor own a boat?

But that valorite... I'd hate to see him fall over the side and be dragged prematurely to a watery grave. For the sea is a dangerous mistress, and, well, she'll drown your ass. And in that armor? Fucked.

I waited for the guards to depart, and made my move. I reached for the key while chanting "Kal Ort Por" and was whisked through the ether directly to the deck of a sailing vessel! One look around told me that there had been seamen recently on the boat, but hopefully, no seamen went over the side. The ocean has a habit of swallowing seamen, especially from a big deck like this one.

I immediately instructed the tillerman to dry dock the boat, for he must obey the holder of the key! With a blessing placed upon it, I added the ship's model it to my bank vault for adventures yet to come.

It was Christmas day, a cold and lonely Christmas Day. Sitting shivering and miserable on a stoop thinking her luck would never change. She let out a deep *sigh* and thought she may try to pick up a nice man to buy her a meal. Carefully staggering to her feet she let out a faint whistle and her trusty horse meagerly tropped into view. Moonglow she thought as she climbed atop her faithful steed. Surely a nice magician could buy a sweet young lady a meal.

Along her travels she noticed a home with a pile of junk sitting along side it. Thinking to herself what a strange sight usually Moonglow residents are of higher class. She steered her steer towards the building. "Boy what a mess." Leaning forwards she read the sign...

What a strange sign. She dismounted and approached the door. The door was ajar! Quietly she knocked to see if anyone was home. The wind blew a terrible cold mist off the ocean so she stepped inside. The inside was just as much of a mess as the outside she thought. But what's this?

With a wicked smile and a faint whistle. She loaded her new found belongings atop her trusty steed. And just as she was near finished packing she discovered a beautiful blazing warm outfit! What a BLESSing it was! She had found warm cloths and enough goods to buy a hearty meal!

Merry Christmas she thought to herself.
