To All concerned, No the Winter Wonderland Villa is and will always be secure.
Father Christmas is stuck behind that desk from the moment the 1st present arrives till the last one is handed out.

    Two short tales:

    1) The red xmas scroll from @Five Star

There was this elf boss hanging out at the Yew gate. Within a few minutes several players showed up, among them koolaid/fivestar. Naturally, I stalked them and watched the poor elves being slaughtered. Sadly, they didn't drop anything worthwhile to recover from the evil elf slayer's clutches. However, there was a shop right north of the scenery, with a red scroll being sold. Well, and exactly this red scroll was bought by Fivestar. Roughly 0.5 seconds later it miraculously ended up in my bag. A quick An Lor Xen and stealth attempt secured it.

ADDENDUM: Karma or the xmas spirits seem to have recompensed @Five Star meanwhile.

    2) CPR doing a green AMIB and donating a force repond sword

I was doing some rounds in cities. Jimmy the Hand had requested some assistance for his xmas event while he was offline for a few days.

I recalled to Serpent's hold and saw a unnaturally high amount of player activity there. A large amount of CPR guild members had assembled there. Snooping didn't reveal anything valuable, but the CPR players moved suspiciously west-ward into the jungle. I thought, they might dig for treasure and followed them while hiding in the shadows... the guild had disappeared... but between the trees of the jungle a green portal was hidden... I took it and landed up on a crashed pirate ship!

    CPRgreenamib.jpg

So, CPR had found a pirate ship and was going for the hidden treasure! While they were fighting through the pirate and undead hordes, I saw that some of their members were equipped with weapons of interest.

    CPRgreenamib2.jpg

I went for the more valuable weapon, naturally. The time was right, when it was switched for a Silver slayer while battling the undead pirate captain.

A quick grab and fast run through the green portal to Trammelish safety later, I enjoyed my bounty. Especially noteworthy is the following civilized discussion of the finer aspects of UO gameplay.

As I slunk around Serps, I saw a CPR group congregating... ol' Gestas sensed mischief afoot. As I watched the group drift off into the forest, with talk of frozen lands upon their lips, I had a hunch we were in for a treat. My suspicions were soon confirmed, as I saw a gate spring from the ground. Quickly stealthing through, I found myself in a frozen cave - elves and reindeer abound!

When "a wild snorlax" also burst through the gate on a tear, I quickly did a guild whisper to him full of laughter. Two cA idiots jumping through the same gate to the same frozen land! What were the odds. Alas, Hoominaga had the call of "real life" to attend to, and missed out on the loot at the end. Gestas quickly stealthed through the caverns, waiting for the adventurers to slay the requisite beasts. Upon doing so, they opened up a cave to Santa, where the evil boss lay in wait.

While their dragons made quick work of the rider and the bear, I slinked toward the chest and waited for the fateful click of the lock. Upon its opening, I quickly grabbed the splendid green coin (20!) and platinum (2!) and made myself known!

Unlike the group BlackEye encountered, these fair adventurers took it all in stride. We had a good laugh together and shared stories of mischief, and I was on my way! Shout out to CPR for being a great sport about it.

Okay, here you go. But to be honest, there isn't much to tell. I followed two GuH members through a gate in front of a villa. While checking out the bags of the players and the villa, a gate opened... right into a tower.

    GuH1.jpg

The security was... non-existent... nobody detected, and the inner doors weren't locked.

    GuH2.jpg

Reaching the upper floor, I realized that GuH is a german speaking guild, so I left them a note in our shared language.

    GuH3.jpg

The value should be around 300-400k from what I saw. Although there might a gem of a slayer hidden in the weapon stash.

The legitimate businessman O'Malley, was making his normal rounds this afternoon and came across a moongate in town.
Sneaking through the gate, I happened upon a brave tamer attempting to slay a dark elf battle mage.

Being a little whiskey- eyed, I hung back and let McMaximo do all the killing.
Another brave elf killer came by and wished McMaximo luck.
McMaximo thanked the traveler, " hope I get a scroll !! " he yelled at his new friend.

    ...me too McMaximo....me too...

And as luck would have it, a scroll dropped for the overly enthusiastic warrior.
A quick movement of the fingers, an even faster gate, and I was safely pressing its cool blue parchment against my face to help my headache.

another act of requisition brought to you by your neighbors, The Mockers.

Ol' Gestas had been focusing most of his Christmas effort on hunting down elves... but as he ran across the land with his new friend, the tamer looking for adventure, he heard a strange declaration via a little voice in the back of his head...

What a glorious opportunity! Quickly making his way to Moonglow, he laid in wait for the magical gate to open.

Sure enough, within minutes, the gate appeared and Gestas dashed through!

He quickly combed the land, identifying (with the help of some guild members) the location of a few chests that looked to hold untold riches. Laying in wait, he bided his time, waiting until the faithful adventurers finished dispatching all the evil elves in the vicinity.

It just so happened that once the leader came along, Gestas had the quicker fingers, and nabbed the beautiful green coin (20!), the gold (5,000), and... a scroll that promises even greater riches! What luck!!!

Overall, most of the adventurers took the hi-jinx in stride (except the man wearing the Val suit and riding a polar bear - who was very very salty about it), and Gestas bowed out of trying to loot the second chest, letting some of the folks fend for themselves with it.

All in all - good fun! Kudos to gitchuone (@gitchu1000 ?), Danger, Treasure Hunter, and Kassad, who all enjoyed a laugh with me at the end of it all.

Again, nice job. That's how these things work. I appreciate the write up as well. Great documenting our debacle. Good luck out there!
