Coming in patch 85 a new section will be added to the reward vendor. This section will open midday on Sunday 2/10/14.

Due to one of our staff members having been a former player most of marble island was donated to the server as he assumed his staff role. In order to return these to player hands while being fair about it, helping the server and avoiding any of the drama which could come of that. To accomplish this we have broken up these 8 houses into two groups. One group including a tower, fortress, and two villas will be offered as a platinum raffle.

Players can take a chance on the house of their choice for the prices listed below. Should you hit the jackpot and get a good spin from RNGesus you will be rewarded with a special deed for the property in question. Once someone wins a specific property the raffle for that property will close and that players name will be listed on the raffle tab. (Along with a global celebration announcement).

We had planned to do the whole sell tickets, and do a drawing thing but time limits have made that a bit to much work in this situation. So given all the factors we think this is a fair way to get these back into player hands. Given that most UO servers would simply slap a massive price tag on these or sell tickets for $$.



How the process works

- Selecting to spin the wheel will cost you the listed amount of platinum.
- The rate for each spin is shown on the raffle menu and is not affected by any other factors.
- There is no staff involvement in the process. Once we turn it on, it is all automated.
- Should you be lucky enough to win one of the raffles, you will be provided with a special deed indicating which house you have won.
- Contact a staff member to have the house transferred to the player of your choice.
- You may also sell the ticket to another player should you be lucky enough to win.
- The tickets are blessed should you win a raffle.
- Players will need to wait 10 seconds between spins.​

Additionally 4 other houses (Tower, Keep, Villa, Villa) are included as special random rewards available from the holiday coin Christmas lottery.

Harsh statement. The servers attention to time zones is simply based on the availability of our volunteer staff. Given that most of the staff are in the US, have jobs, family, etc our common availability is evenings, weekends US time.

Even so during the Anniversary and Halloween events I schedule events 24 hours a day and make sure we have staff available to monitor/start those to accommodate players around the world. All other events run for weeks at a time, 24 hours a day to be accessible to everyone. The server's events were literally designed to account for people who are in different time zones, or who cannot walk away from a holiday to try to take part in an event linked to that.

Opening this in the middle of a day on a Sunday is the best we can do, in the time that we have, with the volunteers we have. Making passive aggressive statements about the staff not caring about half our players will simply end up being a self fulfilling prophecy. If you want the staff to stop giving a shit, then continue to post about how little we care about this place. Most of us were online all day on a Saturday to get this done for the players. As I work to motivate our volunteers, the first post from our players is literately, "this doesn't suit me specifically, so clearly the staff don't give a shit".

The quality of the server will drastically improve if our players start appreciating the fact that we are volunteers here and on literally any other server you would be required to have a credit card to take part in something like this. If you assume that, as your paid employees, that the staff should show up, shut up, and do as you demand. Then this will not be the server for you. If you rather show some patience, make constructive requests about future times that work for you and other players who are around you and trust that the staff will take those into account then you have a much better chance to make the server more accommodating for time.

As I stated above this lottery will open midday today, and probably will take a few days to a week before someone is lucky enough to win everything.

I am working with Chris and going forward we are trying to cater for EU players ie. CTF and Town Invasions, so all time zones will be involved
