Sooooooo . . . . just coming back to game and checking in! I've heard SOF left . . . Earsnot is gone . . . and now MiD is running around triple boxing IDOCS. From what I understand the triple boxing is killing the IDOC scene. Set me straight if I've been misinformed.
"killing the IDOC scene" might be the story you'll get from iderp and their cronies - they'd say that cause they're losing. Flattering. They have a way of vilifying the opposition and this sounds like it.
I don't know anyone in IDERP. That's not to say it wasn't an alt or someone's associated in some form or fashion that I'm unaware of. Are you associated with any the guilds mentioned?
"IDOC tamer wars are killing fun" just means it's annoying to some people. When I IDOCed, a guild called "UO" did the triple-boxing dragon defense crap for the first time (that I saw). It was just annoying. It felt lame. Probably because it was lame. Then we brought our dragon-defense-teams because we had to. Still lame. Then UO folded and we put our dragons away and it wasn't lame anymore. Now I guess it's lame again. I think the IDOCers will survive, though. Their chairs are strong and their beers are cold.
I really think it's lame to bring a dexer to a IDOC. I mean what kind of place is an IDOC for a dexer? Straight up killing the IDOC scene. Don't even get me started on thiefs... Killing it.
i like to bring "Guilt" to idocs. "How dare you take other players belongings" "What if that person forgot to click their sign" "How do you sleep at night?" p.s. i don't idoc, never have but if dragons are a man's best friend and the best offense and defense to get the goodies, of course they are going to be brought to the scene. Why wouldn't career idocers give themselves the best chance of getting their payday, lame or not?
