Saying Hi to the community! I'm a old veteran of UO back in 98-99 before everquest came out. Played many, many, mmos since then, but still have a deep love for old school games ie UO and SWG sandboxes. So came here to try it out. Just want to say, I'm pretty blown away how fun it has been playing UO again for the past week and the quality of service and dedication that is shown by the admin bunch. Plaudits! My mainstay is Eve Online so you can always look me up there as well "ship spinning" waiting for fleets. (Eve people will know what that means). Thanks for keeping my memories alive with UO Renaissance...where I initially felt that rapid heart thumping, seeing my first PK in dial up modem speed 28.8k back in the day. I WANT THAT!
Welcome back. My only advice is to not burn yourself out. So many people, myself included always binge play this game and everyone is in a rush to get 7xGM. This game is a marathon and should be enjoyed as such. Again, welcome and let me know if you need any help. I have several houses I could lend to you until you’re on your feet.
Thankyou for that input and generosity! Started out Provo/Mage for a breadwinner....I see tamers are still the catalyst of UO. Not much has changed heh.
Welcome, Darkwave! You'll find that you'll want to make a provo tamer to make serious gold. I like you, however, started with a provo mage and it got me going for a few weeks up until my tamer creation. I hope you win my auction as that'd be a fine first house on this server. Welcome to UOR. Great community here and many helpful people on theforums and irc. Provo/mage is a good start. Tamer opens up the rest of the PvE gameplay. EVE is my 2nd goto game as well. I have played it off and on since beta. If you need anything, let us know.
