So... maybe not important to others, but as a QoL benefit... can we use scissors on piles of hides not locked down if they're on the ground?

Would just make some things a little easier when farming / have things at the house, w/o needing restock macros to chop it all up.

Yes! Being able to cut hides on the floor would be awesome.

I am 90% certain that this could/can be done on shards that were set after the UOR era. On Defiance (defunct EU free server) you could cut them on the floor I am sure.

Totally for this btw... no harm in it and it makes sense to be able to cut them in any container and on the floor.

You are able to cut cloth on the ground.
I don't see why we cant cut leather.

Haven't made a single set of leather anything because it's a hassle to cut leather 20 at a time lol.. idk if it would be era accurate but would definitely improve leather handling :)

I've been stacking and selling my leather. No time to macro that with accounts that need to be finished

I made my money leather farming back in the day and I 100% remember cutting the hides while they were still IN the corpse coffin!!!
As sad as it sounds, I still have the muscle memory from doing it so, SO often back in the day.

I cut a corpse, then double click it. While its opening I use my "xScissors" macro then click the hides, shift click and drag.

I'm Not? My girlfriend enjoys tailoring, I just buy what I need lol or collect materials for her and steal hers of course.

Cloth weighs less than leather anyways so I don't remember having issues with that

It would prob be even better if when you carved corpse for hide instead of it cutting it up into piles of hides, can’t it just show on corpse as cut leather

While they're at it, make pack llamas mounts or let me tame a giant beetle that can carry 6,000 stones so that I can farm for hours on end without having to bank

    this is sarcasm

Right. Don’t want those darn leather farming 1%ers to become even more wealthy.

Cloth can be cut on the ground. Don't see why it isn't the same for leather... Lol you must keep leather in your pack but cloth is OK on the ground. Logic.
