Do people sell forts or castles anymore?

thank you all for tagging me.

i do own only 8 atm (and that is far from the 90 odd total forts/castles). i buy whenever i see an "opportunity". yes my end goal would be 15 forts , which technically i cant cause i own 2 other houses (non forts)
so 13 is my next end goal. when i achieve this i plan to keep 1 (after cub release i will chose my most beautiful one) and sell all others.

as for pricing: i've bought swamp/dagger forts at 15 & most prime one at 45m.
as for my currently owned ones: i do sell whenever someone is willing to contact me & pay me a fair price (a balance between market value & to what i originally paid for it)
i may be a "fort hoarder" but i have sold over a dozen of these in the past years. if i didnt i would have achieved 13 by now without even trying.
the ones that bought from me, they know. (dont wish to disclose their identity)

why do i buy forts... 1 because i can & 2 because i choose real estate over trammel clothing (except for the 1/1 kinda items i like)

i have no secrets when it comes to my housings...

as for letting players in my forts, i have done this a handfulof times. not once have i removed them from the co owner's list BUT the CY's are all disabled for the obvious reasons. as a good example, the castle on sand by compassion is semi decoed. a player who was playing a little back, he loved to deco & i even chipped in the costs wherever possible. till today he is still co owned & log out in the house. but sadly he dont play no more.

one collects trammel, the other collects deco, i collect forts & rarely a 1/1 item.
we r all guilty to some pleasures... one way or another... but in the end of the day, we r all player Chris's free server.

as for the refreshing processes. i did hear a "rumor" about limiting refresh to CO owners or even the house OWNER only .

this would mean that only "active players" plus the ones that log in every 2 weeks for refresh would be able to refresh. all friended toons wouldnt refresh no more.

I believe this would be the real solution to this massive controversy that is putting off so many players...

Could you imagine how offended the many vets who don’t play here or haven’t played here in 2+ years would be if their houses could no longer be refreshed? They might quit! Can’t have that!

well technically they can be refreshed, they just have to it themselves, like any supposed active player do

I think it would cause an economical downfall.

I’m for it.

But houses would be worth deed, even big houses unless they were in a good location. That would be the only influx in costs.

Because it’s pretty uncommon to find a small house that’s been in refresh mode for over 6 months. For the most part it’s the patio sized houses upwards.

I'm newly back after being gone for a couple of years and letting all my housing vanish :/ I am extremely low on cash. But did you see the post I made about stuff I was able to salvage? Anything there come close to what you would accept for that large keep?
