Hello good people of Britannia! It is I, Ragar of Paws. I have kept to myself of late but some recent events have transpired and we (Tybris Varn and myself) feel it is necessary to alert the public of possible danger. While on a standard patrol last night we began a discussion on the number of orcs in the Spiritwood of late There seemed a few more than usual. For a brief time anyway. Seems pretty clear now. *grabs a rag and cleans blood off his sword* Once we cleared the area we decided to travel to the Cove orc fort to poke around. I'm not sure why Cove...maybe because it is the biggest of the forts and a likely source of trouble. Maybe because it seemed an arbitrary decision at the time and we had nothing better to do. In any case, away we went. We hadn't felled but a dozen or so when we made a discovery. Honestly I don't know what it is supposed to mean. I can tell you that it is written in the Bloodrock Clan's gibberish as opposed to the Bloodclan's gobbelygook but that is about it. We did pass a guy mining with a pack llama on the way out but I didn't think to ask him about it. He seemed a good fellow but was happy smashing away at the earth. If anyone has run across anything similar please let us know, or write about it here so that we may figure it out together. We assume that it means something is either happening or will happen in the near future, but that much seems pretty obvious. Any further information would be appreciated. I have seen a naked orc fishing from the docks in Cove recently. Clearly this is a sign of a rising orcish aggression!
Those poor people, having to endure such a horror. Orcs are hideous enough but for a naked one brazenly flaunting inside your good town, well that’s just not gonna stand. We must band together to be ready to throw back whatever is upon us. No doubt there is some scheme afoot.
I heard Shiloh talking in the market place (aka the Trade forum) about a similar book. I believe I was able to glance over her shoulder and perfectly reconstruct the image I saw. To think my teachers in Trinsic said I had memorization issues... I don't see VWXX WXWI in there...which I suppose translates to IN. Perhaps her tomb had more than one page. Either way I believe she stated that she recovered it off of an elder gazer so I suppose this is bigger than some orc conspiracy.

Eager to report the finding of a new book, this one authored by our own Gideon Jura. It was found off an Evil Mage at the Occlo tower.
I have taken a hard look at this strange little volume and realized ...egads! There are 6 pages in total with the most unusual writings. Whatever could these pages contain? My mind wanders on what message will be revealed and if once translated ... is it possible things in our land could forever be changed! I hesitate to proceed with trying to understand that which is contained within the pages of the book and feel a small tremor course through my body and know in that moment, I am frightened. Should I put this away and try to forget it ever came into my possession? But i cannot, the burden is too heavy as i realize that i have been entrusted with this message ... through no fault of my own. Nay , I must take that statement back -- tis all my fault ....... Darn, why did i ever go into the Deamon room to look for that tall flask. Of course the deamon spawn promptly killed me. I should have just left the goods on my corpse, they could have easily been replaced, but nay i had to go recover my regs and bringing my dragons with me to kill all the mobs ------ therein i found this volume on the corpse of that elder gazer. Alas, greed has put me in this position and I have no one to blame but myself. I must go on ...... to do whatever I can to protect this precious way of life we have all chosen. So .......With quaking hands, i begin to decipher the letters and offer the following translation of Page 2: "We are all given different skills...." Aaaahh ..... this is too much -- my body has failed me & I must admit defeat and can continue no further --- my weary eyes are making this a daunting task. I send out this plea to all the good citizens of our most treasured and beloved land and to those of us who are versed in decipher skills and willing to take on this scholarly endeavor. PLEASE HELP!!
