Halloween Suggestion Box!

Reward Wise I’d definitely be interested in Gruesome Standards as an Hcoin purchase. Not sure if anyone else would want them but they most certainly would interest those of us who like that sort of deco.

I like the idea of "Trick or Treat" bag drops on mobs!!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Miners drop blacksmith gloves +3 or something. Give us crafters an edge. Spread out the wealth to non-taming builds.

Hooded Shroud.

This event was awesome last year and I'd be happy to experience it just as it was if need be. Of course there is always room for variety, so my suggestions are:

Tameable zombie cats that chuck bandages and fall somewhere between a Drake and a Hell Hound in power.

A new hue of spooky nightmare maybe

Hue 1107 gloves of the Rogue that give +20 stealing (don't care where they spawn)

Body paint is a good idea, but make it last only until that toon dies.


I absolutely disagree with the suggestion to not allow reds in the Halloween gates. This contradicts the Felucca server model, and the theme of the event. It's Halloween, and what's more scary than a crew of bloodthirsty savages running up on you? Will you be the hero and narrowly escape deaths grip, or will you end up a bloody mess like the rest of them?

Also this event comes with an exit feature that basically guarantees your safe exit unless you're grey or dead. That is Trammel enough - really strikes a great balance imo.

A pumpkin head mask that can only be put on during the Halloween event days (or October)
Kinda like only mounting a polar bear during December

A necromancer hooded shroud would be most epic as a drop.

Or a bloody apron from a butcher.

I love @Ron Jeremy ideas of drops and exploit as well. Great content there. Firebombs are a cheap exploit. It lessons the difficulty and increases other's unlikelihood of a drop. Especially those that have worked tirelessly to get the boss to spawn, escaping pks left and right only for others to come in a reap their hard work.

Be fun if there was a 1/10 chance inside the instance of a boss mob spawning a gate that sent you back to the start of the instance so your time reset....

You know how during valentines you get those spells of lost love scrolls?

How about a scroll of tamer muting?
That would make the instance fun.

Maybe some undead plate armor drops which do not have a dex penalty.

There are some neat colored plate armors in the game but they're not worn.

I'm sure most would be tucked away or only used during AMIB / CTF but it would still be nice to see people use metal armor.

Obviously the armor set would need to be better than bone invulnerability to make it have any value.

Maybe something called; ghost plate armor or undead armor and give it a unique color.

Make metal armor greats again!

Maybe some Bone armor of invulnerability that matched the mask drop from the event would be cool

1) Replace the vampire boss with Naxatilor (https://ultima.fandom.com/wiki/Naxatilor), with a rare drop spellbook or runebook named the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom (https://ultima.fandom.com/wiki/Codex_of_Ultimate_Wisdom). Not sure about hue (1177, 1257, 1281, 2952?).

Sorry if some of these have been done before, only did a quick google search of all servers.

I remember there being a point system last year but it was never activated.

Whatever your original intention with that system was, maybe implement it this holiday.

I do recall the staff saying atm of the first run of the event, that the point system was primarily a bragging right deal. A lot like the compendium monster kills etc etc, but would be thought about and considered, putting in a reward system for future Undead town event's. Thanks for bringing that one up as it slipped my mind completely.
