Troubleshooting Razor & Client Problems

    Hmm, did you try installing the UOR package again?

    What kind of error you got? just stopped working? white UO screen?

    I solved problem re-instaling UOR package and downloading razor via Demise website. Now I'm gaining my skills and try to understand server :)

    I am getting fairly regular screen flashes from Razor. Screen flashes on each cycle of a macro and then also every 5-8 seconds while standing still. Does not flash while moving. No latency problems of any kind. I run as administrator. I am using Razor 1.0.13.

    This kind of issues is usually solved changing compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3.

    Keep running it as admin too :)

    What's a good codec to use if you are recording an avi video with razors video record feature, for upload to youtube? Here is a screenshot of the available ones.

    Since you can't upload an rpv file, because it's not a format youtube accepts, you can't even convert it to another file format, you'll have to use avi. I've had problems with avi in the past but for some reason now it's started working. Here's a list of other codecs you can use, at this link https://www.bandicam.com/best-codec-for-recording-software/

    None of those are included in this list, is there a way I can add them to razor? Or, I could just record an avi file, as long as it's not a ridiculous file size format, like hundreds of gigs (I want to to record a 2 hour video and a 1 hour video of me doing 2 specific things) I could convert it with format factory to another format/file size that will fit on youtube.

    You can click watch thread in the upper right corner.

    About the video recording, I think that there are more modern software out there to do that, one that I hear frequently is OBS.

    Hi. The last couple days, I get home from work, start up the computer, launch razor/ultima online and my Restock-1 list is cleared. Which means I have to re-add all of my Restock items back including quantity of that item. It's a pain. Any ideas how to fix?

    A possible cause of this is using multiple clients or accounts with the same profile, the last client that you close saves the configuration. Ie you open 2 clients with the same razor profile, loggin into your accounts, open agent and make the restok list, close that client, and after that close the 2nd one (you didn't make the list on this) this will overwrite the profile and next time you login you will se the list empy.

    Moreover, are you running razor as compatiblity with Windows XP sp3 and Administrator?

    Im having an issue hopefully someone can resolve or has come across

    one account logs into razor fine and runs fine the other gets past "verifying account" stage but as soon as I select a shard it gets stuck. ive tried the "hit enter"
    suggestion and ran as administrator but nothing seems to work its like one particular account is cursed.. if anyone has ideas im all ears thx

    Did you try deleting/renaming account with the issue folder?

    \UORenaissance\Desktop\AccountName

    yes I deleted the folder entirely ...at least the one in documents and nothing happened

    hmmm documents?? it should be inside your UORenaissance folder


    UORenaissance -> Desktop -> AccountName


    Otherwise could it be a wrong password issue?

    mine says ultima online classic and the account info is in the documents

    Hey I think that you could try make a new install making use of this new launcher, it will download and make it ready to use with correct files. It seems that you are using an incorrect installation, because the name of the folder.

    Give it a try:

    http://uorenaissance.com/downloads/launcher/UORLauncher.zip


    Unzip where you want and just run setup.exe

    After that click install or enter britania, it will download all the files and you will be able to use standard old client and the new CUO client.

    im not running renaissance im running OSI so the files are in the correct spot but I thought I could get some help with the issue in here

    Hmm not sure then, but you should try with the launcher, it installs everything in a separated folder with correct client version, It won't mess with other UO installs, so you can easily test it and see if problem gets fixed.

    New laptop wont load razor.. says need an app for pc... tried run as admin and sp3. No go.. win troubleshooter says incompatable..

    Hi everybody. so my razor crashes me out when every I do anything with a target. so if I try and animal lore a horse I crash, target anybody with a spell. please please help
