what is with the excessive cursing on this server

I just started playing here with my son. When i choose this server it looked like a nice place and people were calm but since i started all i hear is F you, F that, Your a P and all that in the last 5 mins just standing around Bull pens

You have gone to the worst place for your first experience. Not just on this server. Any server.
The bull pens are an embarrassment to adulthood.

This place is pretty tame compared to other servers. Also there is a built in profanity filter in the client that you can add words to and have it turned on. It will asterisk bad words. When I was playing this game back in the OSI days it was turned on by default and I would laugh at most of the lizardmen names being censored haha

You put your son to macro tammin at bull pens? You crazy? Put him to tame animals on the fields, explore the lands... to read forums and learn where wich mob is, discover the different tamming dificulties and find his own way to raise skil... Bull pens is the meeting point of some angry/frustrated follks... your kid have the option to dont become a "result oriented" nerd... he can cook things, minining on caves, dress his handmade armor and fight mobs... uo can teach good things to kids it will depends how you will drive his experience.. and in mine opininion you are driving his expeprience as a little adult, put yourself in the kids mindset. Let his imagination drive him to this giant world of possibilities.. i personaly dont have much contact with people saying shit on game... there is a naturalist event today by the way, a good example of healthy actitivities someone could do here.

the bull pens have the highest toxicity in this game due to:
1) its competitiveness
2) liers who say they would take good care of the bulls and yet bring in silver serpants to devour every bull that decide to call them masters

Two words - bull pens. That place is bad to the bone. For the most part this shard is a very nice place
